Do it at night. Don't let a days worth of debris sleep in your mouth. if you can brush only once a day,do it at night or you give your plaque 8 uninterrupted hours to set up housekeeping.

Floss at least once per day. Brush at least twice per day. Be thorough with brushing to include the gum tissue, not just the teeth. Use a good tartar control toothpaste.

There's nothing worse than seeing someone hot and then smelling their horrible breath and seeing their red, puffy, infected gums because they don't brush and floss.

Try to brush with Crest toothpaste (any kind-all are good) at least twice a day and visit your dentist every six months
