I have a white ceiling and white trim. The carpeting is TAUPE. The only color I can think of right now is a sage green.
Has anyone else went with this color combo?
Any suggestions?
Can you tell me the exact name of your paint color and brand of paint that you had good luck with? I have not found a paint chip that says "sage green". If I did, I would buy it!!!!!

The other two bedrooms in my house are a cocoa bean and a dark taupe so I am trying to be a little different with the green.

Do not use any paint other than Sherwin Williams. Go to your local sherwin williams store and ask them. Get some samples of paint ($5 per sample) and put a few on the walls. This is the best way to do it. You will probably spend $15-$25 but at least you will see a bigger area of it on the wall. I am not some random home owner...I have experience and if you need more help, please email me....
Dont make the mistake of getting anything other than sherwin williams paint. You'll be sorry in the long run.

I just finished painting my bedroom a deep sage green. I bought my paint at Walmart in a "River Reed". I absolutely love it. But I wonder if you have considered a harvest gold color? Either color will look great with your maple furniture and taupe carpet. The gold color would be softer and a more romantic warm color than the green. Go with what you like and stick with it, all your rooms should show your personality. I really like the Walmart brand paint, and I feel this would be the color you are looking for.

Okay, I had same problem, color decision!! I used this paint from Sherwin William's Sand paint. Just get the closes color to sage green, but whats really cool about this sand paint is when finished i will look like a Swed leather jacket light in areas and darker in areas, but you only use one color. i could send you pictures of my living room i did it a Carmel color, and its has a little bit of texture to it.

either green, blue, orange, or red would be really cool. Not a light blue but a in-between blue would be really neat. A warm color would be nice with brown, but cool colors are nice too. You can also go to your local paint store and ask their advice. Don't get a color too dark. It'ss be hard to paint over it again if you need to!

I don't have any specific paint color or brands, but have you thought of any shades of blue? Blue, white and taupe would make a nice restful combination.
Or maybe a peachy shade or soft rose? Nothing too dark or bright. Sorry not to be more specific.

Choose the green color that you like the best, paint the walls with that, then go up one color on the color chart and mix that color with a glaze and sponge on top.

I do love the greens because it goes with everything.Make sure if you go with the greens to go to a cool green since your carpet is taupe. Another choice would be in some shades of purple lavender that goes well with taupe and you could use greens as an accent.

The sage green sounds like it would be very pretty, if you're looking to make everything natual looking.... maple, taupe, white, green. Sounds pretty though.
I would like for you to read additional details about a question you answered for me. I appreciate your honesty, but I feel pretty good about it.
