Technically science cannot prove anything for certain because the basic premise of science is that a theory, hypothasis, or statement is assumed to be true until it is disproven. For example, the THEORY of relativity or the THEORY of evolution are both theories rather than facts as all science can produce are theories supported by trends, results and data of various forms but to call the theory of relativity the truth of relativity is unscientific no matter how much evidence to support it
So I cannot scientifically prove there is a God.
I may be able to philosophically argue there is a God but I have not encountered a single philosophical argument which has not had an effective critique against it. For example Anselm's ontological argument is pretty sucessfuly countered by Kant's observation that "existence is not a perfection".
I think perhaps the best proof of the divine is when you actually find something perfect in life. Like when you hold a newborn baby, or when you make love to someone you truely care for, or when you see a perfect rainbow. When something like this come along once or twice over the course of a lifetime try to bring yourself to say aloud "This is just random, it has no real meaning and in the sceme of things matters no more and no less than a slime covered rock." and if these words ring 100% true to you then perhaps there is no God.

I have no proof that you have a brain, yet you continue to function, think, move, breathe, and live, all because you have one. Now if they took it out, you would cease to function.
Same with God, once you have known Him, you can't go back.. (to the without Him thing.)
**By the way, look in the mirror. There is hard proof that there is a God. You are a miracle. Take all your science lessons and put them to work. Think about all your different systems, and how they function - separately and together. That is a miracle... Now go bigger, look around you - your ecosystem, and how you and the other organisms function in it... go bigger... the earth, go bigger, the universe...it is all a miracle. From the rising and setting of the sun, to the water cycle, evaporation, the clouds and thunderstorms, the way that lightening puts nitrogen back into the earth....winter, spring, summer and fall, the tiny little butterfly, and the amazing flower petal. Trout swimming upstream, up waterfalls, just to get back to their breeding spot...It didn't happen by chance. It was designed, and you, my friend, were too. You are evidence. Ask Him to save your soul, and for forgiveness of your sins, note the weight lifted off you, and see for yourself...

There is neither proof that there is a God nor that there is no God. Proofs involve experimentation, and because there is no known way to measure the presence or absence of God, then it is not provable.
There is, however, the potential for proving whether God is relevant. For God to be relevant, God must be shown as contravening natural processes (e.g., restoring all the homes in New Orleans, making Israeli & Hezbollah missiles fall harmlessly out of the sky, or making Bill O'Reilly tongue kiss Al Franken on national television.)
(Here, I differentiate between the "relevence of God" and the "relevance of the belief in God." Belief in God has easily provable relevance to those who hold the belief. Otherwise there would be sharp reduction in suicide bombers, people who speak in tongues, and the construction of superchurches paid for by donations that impoverish the faithful. The mind is a powerful organ, and it can bring about pain cessation that many attribute to God, but from personal experience I can state, mind-generated pain cessation can occur in the absence of faith.)

GOD is something that can not be proven by any type of science. There are many people that make excellant points on the big bang theory. We just believe without having seen. This is the basic priniple for the Christain faith.

To prove it means you need to have a control. A world where there is no god, which to everyone wouldn't exist anyway. so since you can't have a control you can't prove it. A catch 22, u see.
However everything around you is a indication there is a god.
Of all the planet's in the world this is the only one with life, abundant..
I believe there is a god. Hence, the word believe.

there are many ways to prove there is A God without referring to the bible, however the bible's claims when sought out carefully reveals conclusively that there is a God, christianity is a reasonable faith we do not say "follow us blindly" there is hard evidence that the God we serve works, one thing that cannot be explained away by skeptics is the change in a person's life when they come to christ. the apostle paul was a murderer one day and the next he was a missionary and gave his life for the very thing he use to kill for, secular drug rehab programs see 30% at best in their success rates, christian programs in comparison see 80% or more. you simply cant explain that away. it takes more faith to explain it away than to say you know what in life and all its intricacies there has to be A GOD
and there is, who loved us so much he allowed his own Son to die so he could be reunited with us

you cannot prove God's existence...God doesn't give hard evidence of his existence because that would be too easy!!He made us free, free to choose between Him and....you know what. But if you ask God, maybe He'll let you know who he is...after all in the Gospel, it's written "ask and you'll receive" (well something like that, I'm not sure what's the english says, in french it's "demandez et vous recevrez")

When you really think it over good, how could everything have just come into existence on it's own? To believe that is so utterly absurd. There is way too much order in the universe for everything to have happened just by chance.

If you could prove that a God existed, you would then have to wonder if
there was a God more omnipotent than the God you proved existed.
Omnipotence is, at its very nature, inscruitable.

It is impossible to prove the extistance of God, theoretically, physically, scientifically, philosophically, etc. Most everything can be contradicted by a solid scientific theory.
