A cattle-prod and a hachet would work nicely, just wear thick gloves.
Join the Church of the Subgenius and try to convert them when they come by.
Just dont answer the door.
Hang a large pentacle on your door. Or an inverted cross. Or a goat's head. Why the goat head?

Okay! Well, it sounds like they really care about you and want to show it their way that they like you guys and are very concerned for you. But if this is a really big problem for you, I think you should give them that talking time at least once. There you can kindly and gently tell them your feelings. They need to know, and if you try lying about it and they find out they will be even more hurt than if you just told them your feelings. Communication helps a lot in a kind and gentle manner. But this question is a little weird to answer since my parent are missionaries and I am an MK (missionary kid)! But I hope they will understand you frustration and stop caring for you. But tell them what you feel about all of this!!!!!! Just try it, and if that doesn't work try one of the other advises!

I'm not sure if these people are Mormons or Jehovah's Witnesses, but both of these non-Christian cults require their people to go door-to-door.
As I stated, these faiths are classified as non-Christian cults, because both of them deny the basic teachings of Jesus Christ, although they both use the New Testament to lure people into their religion.
The JW's were founded by a guy named Charles T Russell in the late 1800's. He didn't like a lot of what is in the Bible, so he re-wrote it to suit his philosophy, and the JW's use it to this day.
The Mormon's have a similar history. In the early 1800's, Joseph Smith decided to set up his own religion, again, because he didn't agree with many teachings of Jesus and the Apostles, not the least of which was the idea of only having one wife. Instead of rewriting the bible, Joseph Smith wrote a completely new book, 'another testament' as they like to call it, and this Book of Mormon is their actual authority, although, like the JW's, they use the Christian Bible to lure ignorant and unsuspecting people.
Now to the answer to your question. Both of these organizations are targeting people who are ignorant of the Bible and Christianity. It is sad that many so-called 'Christians' fall into that category, which is what makes them such easy prey.
All you have to do is know the bible, and let them in. Quote scripture to rebut their assertions, and they will quickly leave and move on to an easier mark. If you don't know the Bible well enough, just tell them to come back at a specific date and time, and when they do, have someone there who does know the scriptures. I guarantee, they will never darken your doorstep again.

A. Open the door, before they speak, say no thanks and please don't come back again. B. Don't answer the door. C. Call the police, sometimes it's illegal to go door to door like this.
I personally would do A. because I've done this before and it works. You can't let them say anything, just be brave, to the point, and shut the door before they can answer anything. They have to know you're serious.

Are they mormons or JWs??
In either case tell them that you have asked them for weeks to not come back, and the fact that they keep coming back is harrassment and the next time they knock on your door you're calling the cops. Then do it.

Either tell them to get the F off of your property and slam the door in their face, or tell them the next time they show up you will call the cops and charge them with harassment. They do not have the right to continue to bother you if you have told them to leave. Its soliciting either way.

Hi, I AM one of Jehovah's Witnesses, We have a DO NOT CALL LIST. If indeed it is Jehovah's Witnesses, and I think it is probably not.We stop coming when we are told.
But if it is indeed Witnesses, you can ask to be put on the do not call list. Or write a letter to the local Kingdom Hall, the elders will speak to our zealous brothers for you!

First, don't answer the door.
Second, politely tell them that you do not want them there and ask them to leave.
Third, If they return, call the police and have them given a trespass warning.
God does not push himself on people and He does not direct us to do that either. As Jesus said, if someone does not want to hear, forget them:
Luk 9:5 If they do not welcome you, when you leave that town, shake off the dust from your feet as a testimony against them."
God is a gentleman, He does not force Himself upon anyone.

Sounds like mormons. I am not a mormon but I have meetings with them and have found them to be quite genial.
However, if they are not behaving appropiately the Mormon church has a very structured heiarchy. It is possible that a Bishop or Ward or Stake President might find their behavior to be determintal to the faith. I would try to find out what Ward they belong to and try to call the Bishop/Leader. See if he can put a stop to it.

Sign outside the door... "All solicitors will be shot"
My mother did that back in the late 60s/early 70s, worked well.
