How can I tell if someone is just being friendly or if he is interested. Do I ask or do I assume?

Just ask to go out somtime, if their interested, then they will say yes and if their not, then they will say, I would love too but...

Alway wait for the "but....."

Depends on how friendly he's being. Ask him out on a date and see what happens
