your body needs something it's not getting from the foods youre eating. Take a multivitamin daily and it wont happen

Well first of all have you been fasting, "dieting", or otherwise denying your body of the nutrients it needs?
If the answer to that is yes well than there is your answer.

Otherwise it could be a number of things...
Your body is trying to tell you something that it is missing out on. The foods you are choosing are probably not fixing it or replenishing your body so you are still feeling hungry.
Go for a food that has protein.
Also try healthy snack foods-fruit, vegetables, cheese and meat wraps, trail mix, etc.

Drink some water.

Or have you recently had a lot of extra stress?
It might possibly that you are not actually hungry but "stress eating".

If all else fails take a nice long relaxing bath, listen to some music and light some scented candles or read a book. Relax your body and get your mind off food.

are you girl, if so, is it your "time of the month, that can often give you the munchies, if this is not the problem, maybe you just haven't ate what your body is really craving, I suggest, drink a big glass of ice water (this will stop the hunger) and think about what you really want for dinner. Chose something healthy, because if you fill your body full of junk, soon that will be all you want and junk is not fulfilling. Good Luck.

You are not eating "filling" foods, like stuff with protein and fiber in it. Empty calories like refined sugar, flour, soda, and the like make you hungry again soon after eating them, in order to keep your blood sugar high.
