Not to worry. We have barely scratched the surface of what is to be discovered.
In 1890, the then head of the USA patent office supposedly made the statement that since all worthwhile inventions had been invented, the patent office should be closed.
Do you think he was right?
Well, now with what we have learned in the last 116 years, the frontier has only opened further.
Knowledge is like a balloon. The more we get (blow it up) the more unknown areas are touched. The balloons surface area gets bigger and more of the outside becomes accessible. And so the unknown has increased as knowledge has increased and this is not only an ongoing process, but it accelerates.
Having so many people alive now, also means we have so many more people available to dig into the unknown.

>>What are the mysteries left to discover?<<

There are still many tales of mystery and imagination left. Just what is a "Vulture Culture"? Did Gaudi lie down with dogs on Ammonia Avenue? Will I ever win a new stereotomy with the turn of a friendly card? Oh the games people play - we play the game every day! You don't believe we're through dancing on a highwire while blown by the wind and too close to the sun, do you?

There was a time in American history, I believe sometime just after the civil war, that there was a push to close the patent office. You sound alike like those forward looking men.. Lets wait and see if you are right saying that all things have been discovered or I am saying that the future holds many great discoveries yet to be known... If I know what they were I would bring them to light and be a very rich man...

well humans in general have a few. we have yet to find the missing link and other worlds like ours. but id have to say my favorite is the skulls. sorry i dont have a link. i went to campfire full of philosophers and one told the most magnificent story about these skulls that will give us the answers to everything. he sed theres five.. or perhaps 7 and only one or two have been found. theyre ancient but flawless. they appear to contain codes. like a computer but are made from earths finest gems and such. they show absolutely no sign of how they were made. zero error. they are a little known mystery. I'm sorry that's the only info i have. i hope what iv given can help you find more.

The mystery of why people keep asking deep philosophical questions to the great unwashed on Yahoo answers when most of the respondents are unable to put together a properly spelled, grammatically correct, or rational coherent thought.

There are lots of things my mind hasn't tapped. I agree that I haven't even begun to reach my full potential. But, this world has a way of sucking you away from the truth. It's hard to concentrate when you're stuck in a routine of providing for your family and trying to give them just the basics. I do try to teach them that there are more things out there than meet the eye. Everyone should unplug from the "world" once in a while. It would probably be alot more interesting.

They say that more is know about the surface of Mars than is known about the human mind. If people treated their cars the way they treat their minds then just about everyone would be forced to ride the bus. I say the human is the last great mystery.

First...ya gotta love the humor of visitors here...I know I do..someone's always providing a good chuckle..LOL!

About mysteries...Hon, have you read the questions here...there are people asking & finding every moment...their "mysteries" being discovered with each passing second....how awesome is that?

As far as world mysteries...there are tons yet to be revealed...or not...depending on the finders & the abductors of such....But as you already know, mass concept plays a heavy role in creating...and the masses simply don't know...yet. But that's okay...it is part of the experience here, is it not? To get to know...to re-member...to be that which we are....

As for being in my chair here...it is gratifying to my soul to give a lift to someone who is seeking one...a purpose of mine, you could say...it is fun, it is learning, and it is very connecting...and how I choose to use some of my "free" time...

I don't know what mysteries will be mine to discover...until I find them, of course....LOL And Peace to You!

in astrophysics: dark matter and dark energy.

complete description of how human body functions. Modern medicine still needs tons of experiments to make sure things work and are safe

in biology: the life at the bottom of the ocean - it is only 50% studies

is there life on Mars, or was, and how did it die?

as for that metaphysical creation stuff, it makes a nice coffee-room conversation topic, but that's about it.
