My mother and I just had an interesting conversation. Not once ,but twice on a religious tv program she heard the father and then his son say Adam was not the father of Cain. They both said to look it up in Genesis and that would give us proof. They both claim satan was Cain's father. Now I'm not sure what Bible they are reading from, but my Bible says nothing to that affect. What do my fellow christians think about this. Maybe my mom and I are missing something, but I don't think so. I appreciate your opinion on this . God bless you all. This tv program is called "Sheppherd's Chapel".

my mom already decided not to watch this program anymore. This is why I always pay careful attention to what comes out of the mouths of people. If it doesn't line up directly with God's word I leave it alone.

You know what? They are giving Satan a bigger role. Now, Satan is a Christian god. No other culture recognizes or gives him credit for anything. They more things that they give Satan credit for, the more power he has. People can do plenty of bad things, like murder, without having to credit, or blame, a god of Evil for it. The point is for people to own up to what they did wrong and become better people, not blame Satan for it all. Some Christians go on about how 'demons' made them drink for 10 years, beat their wives, do drugs, molest children and other evil behavior. Is blaming evil beings and getting exorcised the answer? I doubt it.

What bible were they using Jehovah's witnesses or something? Adam was the father of Cain but sometimes when we do sin the bible relates to the devil being our father because we have choose the way of evilness.

My Bible tells me that Cain and Abel were brothers. So therefore, Adam would be the father of both. When God asked Cain where Abel was, do you remember Cain's answer? He said I don't know, am I my brother's keeper?

That was a wired program. Satan is a spiritual being not physical. He does NOT have creative powers or authority. Satan will never have a physical child. Many are his children through their rejection of God's gifts. That is a spiritual position people decide to live in.

That is such bs it's not funny.With Cain turning on Able the way he did maybe they meant on tv that satan would act like that and Cain acted like his sinfull father. But no Adam was Cains dad. Switch Channels(tbn is awsome and daystar)

I know the program. With any religion do your own research if it is not written in the bible do not put much stock in it. You might want to get a copy of the bible that has differnt versions to better help you understand what GOD has to say. Remember he was the Author. He just used man to write his words.
