I might be just venting but my bf has just got into 2 traffic issues that he could have avoided had he listened to me in the first place. I am so ticked! I know all of you are not like that but mine is. Any insight.

Guys are like that. They don't like listening to other people, especially women. They know EVERYTHING. Haven't you ever heard?! LOL

Yes some of them don't like to listen to us women but we can also be like that and have them asking the same question you are right now but the solution get him in his comfort zone and then talk or talk to his buddy that he listens and relates to well so he can tell him.

I think the reason he didn't listen is because of the whole superiority thing. Some guys think they just have to be macho and do whatever they feel like, even if it is wrong.

A lot of guys really don't care about shoes and drama w/ your girlfriends and shopping and all that crap, so they tune out everthing you have to say.
As long as it doesn't affect you, forget about it.

males tend to learn how to tune out really early in life...
if you are always telling him what to do... and talking at him.. he wont be listening.. he will be tuning out...
to get a bloke to really listen to you...
you have to be genuinely talking to him...
