Oh yes~ I believe in Dinosaurs! Who could not believe in it, just because I am a Christians doesn't mean that I don't believe in Dinosaurs. In Job there are these verses about a creature, (but nobody knows what type, it only gives a description) and I think it is describing a the long-neck dinosaurs (or whatever you call them!) But just because God doesn't mention dinosaurs in the Bible doesn't mean we should not believe they exist. God doesn't mention a bush-baby in the Bible, but I still believe it exist because there's evidence that they do. And there's evidence of dinosaurs. My science teacher also had a theory that maybe dinosaurs were the lizards in our day and age because if lizards get a lot of good food, and have time to grow they get bigger and bigger. In those days back then there was a better protection for the earth and more plentiful in plants and all that stuff. Things had a better chance of becoming old then, and so maybe the lizards and reptiles we know now could have been those dinosaurs then, but it's only a theory. I do not know if it is true?! But yes I do believe in Dinosaurs, and I am a Christian! Do you see my nickname!?

Creationist Claim: The "dragons" in the Bible; Leviathan and Behemoth, actually fit the description of Dinosaurs!
All too common a claim made by creationists. Jeff Dykes (2000) states that:
"Chapter 40 speaks of 'behemoth', who 'ranks first among the works of God' (v.19 - probably due to its size). It had a tail like a cedar (v.17), it lived in the marsh (v.21), and even a raging river would not alarm it (v.23). It was said to be too large to either trap or capture (v.24). Scholars have speculated that this could have been something like a Brachiosaurus or "Ultrasaurus", which grew to up to 60 feet tall."
The large sauropods (such as Brachiosaurus, Ultrasaurus, Seismosaurus, or Diplodicus) probably didn't live in marshes, but on the edge of forests where they could feed on pine cones, branches from pine trees, and occasionally rough grasses. Though, they may have spent much of their time near large bodies of water, it is unlikely they spent any amount of time submerged down in muddy water as some of the earlier scholars of the twentieth century postulated.
The most logical assesment of these verses is that they are discribing a large crocodile. Crocodiles were very common to that part of the world, and the largest on record was 27 ft; a crocodile between 25 and 30 ft long would certainly fit this description.
And as a side note, Brachiosaurus and Ultrasaurus are two completely different genera -- contrary to what is implied by the statement "Brachiosaurus or 'Ultrasaurus'," which gives the impression that "Ultrasaurus" is the Brachiosaur's nickname.
"Chapter 41 in Job speaks of an even more curious creature called "leviathan". It also lived at the water, possibly to support its great bulk. Its hide couldn't be pierced by harpoons or spears, since it had armor plating (vv.15-16). It had fearsome teeth (v.14), and the mere sight of it was overpowering (v.9). And most significantly, this animal breathed fire! "His breath sets coals ablaze, and flames dart from his mouth" (v.21). It seems unlikely that the tales of fire-breathing dragons in ancient times could come into existence without a strong factual basis. Dinosaur fossils have been excavated that show a strange protuberance with an internal cavity at the head. It is conceivable that this could have served as a sort of mixing chamber for combustible gasses, which could ignite when exhaled into the outside oxygen."

yes i believe in dinousaurs.
the creation theory, whihc supports the bible, as well as the ay the world now looks, says that before the flood of noah, the atmosphere was very different. in fact, there was probably a layer of water or ice around the atmosphere, and when that layer fell, it flooded the whole earth for 40 days.
but with an atmosphere of water or ice, it would make very different conditions on the earth. Oxygen would be more compressed, harmful sun rays would be deflected, and life could life 5-10 times longer!
So, since reptiles never stop growing, until they die, a lizard living for 500-900 years could easily grow to the size of the skeletons we see now.
the proof of this layer of water is this: the hyperbolic conditions created by a solid layer in th atmosphere, would compress the atmosphere enough for the bracciosaurus to breathe properly. Look, the bracciosaurus has nostrils the size of a modern day horse's nostrils. Under conditions similar to today, it would be impossible for such a massive animal to take in enough air through those tiny nostrils-unless the oxygen was compressed more. And the ar could only be more compressed if there was a denser layer compressing the rest of the atmosphere.
PS, hyperbolic conditions have been proven by science to increase life expectancy- Micheal Jackson is rumored to sleep in a hyperbolic chamber, and may spas have hyperbolic services, which have been proven to improve brain activity, immunity system, and genarally improve health. Cool, hey?

Unlike mammals, lizards continue to grow larger until they die.
According to the bible, the early people lived for hundreds of years. It is reasonable to assume that the conditions that allowed people to live so long would have applied to animals also, and lizards that live for 900 years would get mighty big.
This changed after God destroyed the earth with what is referred to as Noah's flood. The atmosphere was stripped of much of its oxygen and carbon dioxide, and the air pressure was reduced. More ultraviolet radiation was able to penetrate, causing mutations in genes. The magnetic field also is much reduced. Most plant species were wiped out, and along with them went the nutrition they supplied. The topsoil might have been thousands of feet thick before the flood, but now, that nutrition is tied up in the sedimentary rock.
The fact that trillions of fossils have been found over the years demonstrates that there must have been a world wide flood, otherwise so many animals would not have been preserved, and in such huge masses. There are areas where millions of animals were buried together, simultaneously.

I believe in dinosaurs.
But, I do not believe that dinosaurs are millions of years old necessarily. That cannot be proven.
But it would make sense that if lizards and other reptiles that never stop growing through there life lived a long, long time like they did before the flood they could become really, really huge.

Wow... I mean, wow... This wonderful question really brings out the wonderful, spectacular, crazy explanations. Sure, a layer of ice in the atmosphere, defying gravity, why not! I mean, just look at those small dinosaurs nostrils! And an ice layer is great for blocking harmful sunrays (i.e. heat) so people can live for 900 years.

I believe in God not dinosaurs. If by that you meant do I believe dinosaurs roamed the earth, my answer would have to be yes.
There are many dinosaur skeletons around to prove that fact.
Agree?

I just want to know what their "purpose" was... Everything is supposed to have a purpose and reason right?? Did "god" go to create humans, accidentally sneezed at that moment and created dinosaurs instead? (Then said "Oh ____!") I mean, what was the purpose of giant killer reptiles running (and swimming and flying) around the planet? Was it to first tenderize the ground for sensitive little human feet?

yes I do. actually no Christian that I have ever known has said they did not exist only that they did not exist millions of years ago or before man. Actually the Bible mentions creatures that we know by their description are not anything alive today. We believe that they existed at the same time as men. and possibly when the flood happened died off. Look into it before you assume we are that stupid.
