How long does the gum to heal?
If I can get probably a list of some good foods to eat.
How long does it take for bleeding to stop?(its been 3 and 1/2 hours and hasnt stopped yet o_0)(i was using gauze and can i use cotton balls also?

I have had very liitle pain since leaving the dentist and one morething how long before i can eat solid food again?

Get them back - QUICK! You have forgotten how to spell "wisdom."

But seriously, as I am sure I will make a typo also, just keep chillin' and you'll do fine. It takes a day or two to not feel just awful and sore; a week to feel like you can eat whatever you want; and about three weeks to feel pretty much back to normal.

Gauze is much better than cotton balls. It is best if you actually take 2 gauze squares (2x2) or 1 if it's 3x3, fold them into quarters, wet them under running water, squeeze out the excess water, and then bite down on the gauze. If you have flowing blood after a few hours, you may still be actually bleeding and need some attention. It would at least be worthy of a phone call to ask your dentist. If you just see a little red on the surface of the gauze, you are probably not really bleeding any longer - just oozing a tiny bit.

You can eat solid food TODAY if you keep it away from the side where you had the tooth removed.

I had my wisdom teeth out i think 3 years ago. I couldn't eat a lot, the first 3 or 4 days, but i did eat, pudding and thick fruit shakes, then i moved on to scrabbled eggs. It was probably 2 weeks before I was back to eating "normal" things like potato chips, carrots, and apples and probably a month before I could open my mouth as wide as you have to when you got to the dentist.

PS - You should gargle with warm salt water, it helps gums heal and to keep your sockets from getting dry.

These are very good questions you're asking. The answers should have been explained to you before you left the dentist's office, and they should have given you written instructions. I'm concerned that the bleeding hasn't stopped yet. You need to call the dentist's office right now to get all these questions answered.

a couple of weeks for the gum to heal as long as you don't suck on any straws! you can eat solid foods the next day if your careful not to get it in the back of you mouth, try to shred your meat to memimise the chewing, jello, puddin, shakes. Remember no sucking.
