Try this easy open-face sandwich
Toast a piece of bread, spread a thin layer of mayonnaise on it
add a big thick slice of home grown tomato on it, sprinkled with salt and pepper
add slices of cooked bacon on top of the tomato
cover with slices of velveeta cheese so it covers the whole sandwich (You need to use Velveeta, it melts better than regular cheese - I’ve tried regular cheese and it is not nearly as good for this sandwich)
broil in the oven until cheese melts (not too long you will need to watch it carefully so it doesn't catch on fire)

I love a hot oven Italian grinder -Ham, Salami,Cheese , hot
capicola, mortadella , fried peppers or
a half meatball and half sausage grinder with provolone cheese.
Good thing I do not eat a lot grinders and not too often.
Everyone elses sounds more healthy.

I'd like a Pattie Melt. That is a precooked 1/3 pound burger on rye bread. Add a lot of cheese and grilled onions. Then grill in butter until crispy.

Lobster Poy Boy. It is a whole lobster tail cut in half and deep fried in a beer batter. The lobster then is served in an italian hogie bun and topped with mayo and cayanne pepper.

Mushrooms, mozarella cheese, pizza sauce, pepperoni, tomato, onion, and Italian seasoning on wheat. It's called a pizza sandwich at Potbelly.
