This is a dua for children. Im not sure that there is one specifically for a boy:

Rabbi la tazarni fard dow wa anta khairul waaritheen

It is part of verse 89 surah 21.

It means “Oh Allah do not leave me single (without offspring), and you are the best of those remaining behind (after I have left this world).

Sister, I too initially thought it was bad that you wanted a boy specifically but on reflection i can see why you might do so. If for example, a mother has a daughter, she might next want a son and thats fair enough to want this (so everyone should stop criticising the questioner!!)

However, it is up to Allah SWT entirely what you are given. Children are flowers of the Almighty and they are truly a blessing. He, in His infinite wisdom, knows best so please be happy with whatever Allah SWT gives you. It may be that you are given a gift but only realise its true benefit later on...

There is no 'special prayer' to give you a boy. Every baby is a blessing, a gift from god.

None exists, because babies are God's gift, and we accept humbly and gracefully and thankfully. That's it. As for the sex, God knows best what you should have. Look at it that way instead of especially wanting a boy. Baby boys and baby girls are all beautiful.

dont be silly! it has nothing to do with prayer. the sex of the baby is determined by the mans sperm. all womens eggs are xx. it depends on the mans sperm wether u have a girl or a boy. mens sperm is either xx (female) or xy (male). if the egg is fertalized by an xx sperm, u will have a girl, if it is fertalized by an xy sperm, u will have a boy. i dont see wot it matters wether u have a girl or boy as long as the baby is healthy.

you should just be thankful your God allows you to have babies. HE chooses the sex not you! Any baby is precious even if it is a boy or girl. It is not up to you to make that choice it is up to HIM! Science tells us to that it is the MANS sperm that decides if the baby is male or female.
