In just a few short lines, come up with something profound that you think will have an impact on those of us reading it. (no essays or novels, please!)

The true measure of a life is not in its legnth, but in its impact on the lives around it.

Earth is huge, but it's nothing compared to the sun. That's nothing compared to the galaxy. The galaxy is nothing compared to the universe. What comes after that? How insignificantly small are we in something that has no end? Are we too simple minded to grasp and comprehend something so...immense? The average human mind is designed to want to find an end to something, no matter what it is. Take a second and think about it. Where does the universe go? Is there something beyond the universe as we understand it?

...and what happens if all of us are wrong about everything?

Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways - Big mug of beer in one hand - chocolate in the other - body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO HOO, What a Ride

Adam and Eve had more children than just Cain, Abel and Seth.

After Cain killed Abel, he was sent away with a mark and a wife. A wife? Where did she come from? Maybe there could have already been more descendants of Adam and Eve. They did live for hundreds of years. There could have been a lot of people in the world.

Every wise word you read which answers this question is but a mirror for the potential wisdom and greatness already slumbering at the root of your soul. Feed it with inspiration, make it bloom in action and kindness.
Hows that for spur a the moment?

How do you learn to cut diamonds? You aren't going to practice on real diamonds and even a stone of "lesser" value is still a valuable stone.

Flawed diamonds won't help in the cleaving portion of it and other stones may not offer the same hardness as a diamond. Any thoughts?

Your life is the result of an infinite series of events which depend on each other.

Each event has a probability (a number between zero and one).

The probability of a series of events is the product (multiplication) of all of their
probabilities.

The product of an infinite number of numbers between 0 and 1 (which is
the probability range) is zero.

The probability of your life is zero.

You do not exist, because you cannot have existed.

Are you still there?

***Friendships are like Rainbows: it takes the Bad times (Hard, stormy Rain) and the Good times (Sunshine) to make a a really strong one.

***No one can truly insult you or lie about you if you know yourself inside and out. If you do, then you can be sure that whatever negative they tell you, it won't bother you deeply because you already knew it deep down. And of course, it won't bother you all if you did not know it, since it's obviously a lie.

Not original material

“Thinking is man’s only basic virtue, from which all others proceed. And his basic vice, the source of all his evils, is the willful suspension of one’s consciousness, the refusal to think---not blindness, but the refusal to see; not ignorance, but the refusal to know." Ayn Rand - Atlas Shrugged

The chicken definitely came first before the egg.
The first chicken must have been born in an egg.
Everything laid eggs until the mammals came about.
And the chicken is a bird.
