i'm not atheist i'm extra of an agnostic yet i could desire to answer the question besides. As human beings we will not ever understand no remember if god exists or not. it is not accessible with our constrained techniques. So it provides me the liberty to question and strengthen, i don't stay in worry of offending some imaginary being. even inspite of the incontrovertible fact that I did say that i don't inevitably have self assurance that god does not exist the two, i'm additionally confident that no man or woman or faith has nailed it yet. which contain atheists, it does not could desire to be a being, maybe an adventure, a state of being, a approach. Buddhists have self assurance that god is the adventure of enlightenment. That sounds extra useful than maximum different religions thought of god.

On the outside, I would do what it took to survive and to protect my family. But it would only be something I felt I had to do whether I agree or not, there are several laws I don't agree with or understand but because they are the law in the society in which I live, I respect and abide by them. No law can force you to believe in something that you don't or stop believing in something that you feel deep within your soul. So I would continue to believe in what is in my heart and follow the laws of my land.

I think Pauls said it best:

Phi 1:20 My eager expectation and hope is that I will not be ashamed about anything, but that now as always, with all boldness, Christ will be highly honored in my body, whether by life or by death.
Phi 1:21 For me, living is Christ and dying is gain.
Phi 1:22 Now if I live on in the flesh, this means fruitful work for me; and I don't know which one I should choose.
Phi 1:23 I am pressured by both. I have the desire to depart and be with Christ--which is far better--
Phi 1:24 but to remain in the flesh is more necessary for you.

Are you serious? I would have no reason to keep making my beliefs obvious were they to cause me harm. Religious people did this because they believed that they would be condemned by god were they to recant. I currently don't really care who knows my beliefs, and they aren't something I always publicly broadcast.

Being that I consider it a personal matter, I wouldn't state my opinon unless directly asked. I would then give my honest opinion on the matter.... that for myself, although there is no way to be 100% certain, logic, and my own observation and research lead me to accept that there are no such things as gods. I'd have no problem being killed in such a world as you describe, for far more would be repressed than beliefs.

You bet I would. Earthly life is just one phase of an eternity of opportunity. The "body" that lives on earth is only meat and electricity. What is inside of everyone, their soul, is the important part. You can't see it, hurt it or kill it. A soul never dies, it just moves to another phase. Death penalty means nothing. Just expedite's one's way out of a cumbersome body and into the spirit world.
