some freaking concert with his friends? He went out last nite with em, so why not give me tonite? Is there some hidden meaning to all this?

There's probably no "hidden meaning" here. More likely two things are going on; one, your boy friend is just a garden variety inconsiderate jerk, two, he figures you'll be there when he gets back. I'll bet this has happened before and you have been. Now, instead of letting him "give you tonight," like he has something to bestow on you, when he show up, hand him his hat and tell you're sorry but you have to wash your hair tonight. I'll promise you, there is nothing a guy wants more that something he thinks he can't have, or thinks he's lost. Let him wander around for a few days with his manhood in his hand, and he'll be a little more attentive next time. I was.

Maybe he figured that the concert was a sort of one-time thing that he wouldn't get to see again and since he's going to be with you for a long time, he should go see the concert. It's not like he can have a continuing relationship with a concert where as with you, he can hopefully come home to you everyday.

Maybe because you are writing this......!!!!! No one wants to be laid up uncer there girl all the time...both of you need space...he had a life before you and you had one before him......Going out with your friends is just another way to let off steam.....don't smothr the man...also are you holding back some info here, cause I don't think going to a concert is anything to trip about unless you guys have beem having some problems before???

Because, after the concert, you will still be there like an idiot. You may yell for a little bit but you will get over it. We can do anything we want, and as punishment all we have is to listen to a little bitchin. Big deal, we have been listening to bitching all our lives. Lets have fun anyway

Depends on the guy. For most guys it means that he wants some space, or that you're only a casual thing to him.
Others it may be an opprotunity to see a band he has never seen and he thought you wouldn't be offended... talk to him about it.
