in my experience regards relationships EVERYONE lies, cheats, hides things. or do things behind your back. am i just meeting the wrong people or is everyone like that? lost my faith in human nature

come to think on it. wots the odds on meeting the "wrong type of ppl" 100% of the time!!

lol...nahhhh you not just meeting the wrong people! Relationships seem to be treated lightly these days. Seems to be okay to lie cheat, break up...move on! I too have lost faith and boy have I given people the chance to prove me wrong! And if anyone out there is going to tell me "all folk aren't the same" and "you have to learn to trust again"....forget it.!!!!!.been there, done it! ...dozens of times and it don't change! ...Call me bitter if you want to lol..but I aint gonna let anyone get close no more ...and guess what...I will survive!!!!

You have lost faith in ppl because not everyone is like that. The sort of responses you mention are usually from ppl who do not have the ability to deal with the situations / commitments within a relationship. Some ppl respond like that when their partner has them backed into a corner and they feel they have lost all control within the relationship. It's easier not to face explaining what they really want so they do it anyway and then get into deeper lies etc trying to get themselves out of the hole they've dug in the first place. It could be that they feel they cannot live up to your expectations and yet don't feel they can challenge them so go do it anyway regardless.

OK.... i'll be honest... I tell lies when I think they are necessary, normally when it means I won't hurt anyones feelings...

I cheat... mainly at board games and poker nights at my brothers

I hide things... generally shopping from ex-partners as they give me a hard time about spending MY money on cr@p.

do things behind peoples back... can't think of anything that comes to mind... although the last thing I did behind my best mate's back was to organise a surprise party....

I hope I've restored your faith in human nature.... if you don't want it in ruins again.. never play me at Monopoly and if you do... NEVER EVER let me control the bank!

You are just meeting the wrong people. My husband and I never lie to each other or would ever think of cheating. The only things we hide is surprise gifts!

Absolutely not everyone is like that. Some people just have no morals or respect for other people. But there are good people out there still. Im surprised a guy is asking this though, its usually the girls who think that guys are all liars and cheaters.

Don't lose faith in people. It seems that people have things they hide only because they don't think the other person will understand. It is sad, but true. If you can get beyond that you'll be fine. Good Luck!

i can only speak as i have found i am55yrs, there are all types of people in the world, many are pervs, some are mentally and phisically challenged, some are, aware of their spiritual nature and are clean, if you know what i mean, but some are manipulative liars all you have to do is sort out th wheat from the chaff, it can be a difficult challenge, but it is all part of lifes rich tapestry, do not give up hope there are genuine people out there, honest

people sometimes lie cheat and hide things because they dont think you undersatnd them, or you arent paying enough attention to them, or they are scared of what you might think of something. A lot of it is to do with insecurities, not just plain nastyness.
