Yes and no.
A strong friendship is most important in high school, people who you can trust when time calls for it.
Boyfriend/girlfriend relationship is different. Concentrating on studies is more important, because most likely HS relationships are foiled after a few weeks, months. College is where real, strong love is found. However, if you feel mature and responsible enough to have this type of relationship, go for it--- but think of the consequences...
Plus, ABSTINENCE!!! (safe, and brings pride!)
Good luck!
Be independent, girl!, you don't have to rely on a man to bring you happiness.

I think you're first goal is to graduate with high honors. Everything should be secondary to that including guys. Here's a good rule of thumb. Look at school like a job. From 8-5 you work at school (overtime is sometimes required) from M-F. After those hours the time is your own provided you have done your BEST work at your job. Social life is outside those times but within your family's guidelines and rules. School time is school, your time is yours.

no not really cause you have school first to think about and having a relationship might be a distraction but if you can handle it then go ahead but i think you should focus on school and then when its time you will know cause the right person will come along plus i think your too young right now allow yourself to grow up but in the mean time just have fun!

It's up to you. It depends if you're having gut feelings that you like the person and YOU want a realationship with that person. GO FOR IT! But remember safe sex!
