You hear the supporters of illegal immigration make claims about what would happen to America if we didn't have illegal immigrants. Usually they say something like "illegals do the jobs Americans won't" or "they work harder and for less money than any American". So I thought I would show you what would happen if there were no illegal immigrants in America and how it would affect America.

* Thousands of jobs will become available that Americans can and will do.
* Billions in Taxpayer dollars will be saved.
* There will be an immediate drop in crime of all kinds
* Schools will improve with their ability to focus on teaching instead mollycoddling students that don’t have adequate English language skills.
* Thousands of legitimate immigrant workers will have room to enter the US workforce where they benefit the US economy.

# Wage in jobs that had been held down by the wage regression created as a result of an illegal workforce will rise until it is competitive with the labor market.
# The creation of a permanent “American underclass” and the human suffering that accompanies it will have been avoided.
# The gross national product and tax receipts of the US will rise as wages are kept in the US rather than being sent to Mexico.
# Hospitals, law enforcement and prisons will be relieved of the costs imposed by illegal immigration.

Absolutely correct and logical ... and that's why it won't fly ... big business wants cheap labor ... big business are hand in glove with the administration ... Bush wants globalization, and free flow of goods, services and people across the border ... big business wants to outsource, or make an unseemly profit on the backs of the permanent underclass they're busily trying to establish ... and this administration doesn't give a damn about logic .... or our citizens ... corporations rule, and Washington follows ....

Sounds like we save money in the whole scope of things. I doubt if they will lower taxes but there is a savings. Someone would have to cover the raising cost of those things you mention if they stay (they can't even if all paid taxes-it is impossible). It comes down to we can not afford it. The cost is too high.

Very well put, maybe the extra 68 billion will get the liberals on board. Look at all that money that could go to a cause.

I doubt there would be a tax cut, but given all the other benefits I truely believe our economy would be stimulated and we would all benefit from a higher standard of living.

...Technically, computationally, yes..

But the Govt. would never allow that to happen..

At least not until the next Administration comes in.

---But, you forgot to mention how much the districts will save on transportation... IE: Bus and fuel, etc...
