I have a few questions.
what do you prefer and why:

a miniDV camcorder or one that records to a Harddrive.

my goal is to be filming stuff like when im snowboarding, stuff like that. 'action' stuff. so wouldn't the harddrive be not reliable? (from shaking etc.)

and also, is there that big of a difference between the just 'regular' miniDV cams and the ones that boast HD?

thanks.

MiniDV is the best bet. They are reliable, affordable, and have better quality than DVD or Hard Drive. HD will have higher resolution, but its not worth it unless you watch the video on an HDTV.
