I was given an ointment (prescription) used for impetigo, which worked very well, for something like what you describe. I've also had herpes outbreaks (look like pimples) ON my nose, but that doesn't sound like what you describe. . .
Sorry for the delay - had to get the tube out of the medicine cabinet. . .
It's called - Mupirocin 2% -
I put it in my nose, with a q-tip, 3 times a day. It took about 5 days of treating it, but it worked, and hasn't come back since.

Flush your nose each day with saline. You can make your own homemade saline by mixing 1/2 teaspoon of salt with 1 cup (8 oz) of warm water. Use a medicine syringe (the kind with no needle) to squirt it up your nose as you lean forward over the sink. Continue to use the ointment after cleanings and be careful not to pick at it.
While the cause may be unknown, some people get dry sores in their nose as an early sign of a chronic lack of hydration. Drink plenty of water every day.

Yes, I have. There is just not a whole lot you can do with a nose sore and that little sucker hurts. The area stays moist and takes forever to heal. I just go with the flow and let it heal on it's own. :)

just follow what the doctor says. don't pick at it. dont blow your nose hard either. just leave it be.. and continue putting the ointment in your nose. if it doesnt clean up you should go back to the doctor.
