It should be called Palestine. The whole country is Palestine. Israel was only created in 1948 because of British mandate and UN agreement. The Israelis recognize this agreement but not surprisingly the ones that they do not like. Israelis are just occupiers of Palestine.

well i do think that yahoo should have a seperate section for Palestine in the travel category. It is two very different places and many people still travel in Palestine where there are many things to see.

There has never been a country named Palestine. If you think there was, then answer a few questions...

What was the name of their currency?
What picture appeared on their smallest bill?
What were their major political holidays?
What city was the capital?
What year did they achieve independence? From whom? Under what circumstances?
Who was their first political leader?

Nope. And it would be nice if you would read some actual history. Israel was given that land legally. The Palestineans had the choice to stay or go, and they CHOSE to go, then complained that their land was 'stolen'. BS! Any normal person would have emigrated to another land and begun making a new life for themselves. But Palestineans would rather scream and yell over GENERATIONS about the land that they themselves were merely squatters on.
