Spanish is my native language and I'm learning English as a second language but I don't know what does that sentence means... Need help. Thanks.

It means someone did not leave you a tip (like servers in restaraunts).

People who serve others, like waitresses and hairdressers, expect an extra payment of at least 15% of the price of the service.

For example, if your meal is $10, you should give the server an extra $1.50. If you don't she will say she was "stiffed on the tip".

It means you didn't pay what she expected you to, you left her nothing.

That means the waiter or waitress gave you good service and you were cheap with the tip.

to be stiffed on a tip means that you've not been givin a tip"money" for a service you've provided................... ie, a waiter, hair dresser, ect..

"Stiffed" refers to an erect penis.
