Yes I do. Í find joy in the simple things in life whether it is watching and hearing my children play and laugh together or a beautiful sunset, the singing of the birds , the wonderful fresh smell of the forest after a summers rain or helping out others by giving them an uplifting word or by helping them out and putting back a smile on their face again. It makes me happy to enjoy all the miracles that every new day brings and it fills me with gratitude and joy that I'm able to help others.

Yes, I do and I could if I would just be given the opportunity to. I could be filled with joy and exude joy if only I could be with the one I love.I could and would be a different person than what I appear to be right now. Not many know the real me. Perhaps they never will because they think I am a drama queen or misinterpret what I have belief in. I'm so sorry for them for they will never know what as good person I am and would be...peace & love

Yes, absolutely. On my way to work there was a bag lady whom everyone and myself always blatantly ignored. She constantly had her arm stretched out so that anyone would put some coins in it, but no one ever did. On the rare occasions that someone did give her money, it did not exceed a couple of cents. One day I was holding in my hand a 10 euro bill, and spotted her in the distance sitting on the pavement crying. My heart just broke into a million pieces. I thought she needed it more than me and while passing I threw it on her lap. I can only compare a few joys in this world as the semi-surprised, comforted, elated look on her face. Since then, I leave some change in her hand every day and I feel peaceful and happy for the rest of the day. Not to mention that this money somehow finds its way back to me in twofold and threefold.

I dont think im quite there yet, that comes through self love first, when your happy you want everyone else to be the same. There is a certain satisfaction from giving goodness to all but you hav eto want to whole heartedly. You would be amazed how many so called saint;y people are forever doing good deeds and being overly nice for no reason 'just because', when in fact they are doing it for their own good to either get something out of it or to be selfish and feel they are a better person. Sorry to be so pessimistic and kill your happy vibe I can see where you coming fron and you seem like a nice decent person have a groovy day ans spread that love......but in the good way

I find that simple goodness doesn't seem to contain as much joy as remember it did when I was a kid, but they've probably had to change the recipe since then. I blame the EU. Maybe I should try switching brands? Which brand do you recomend?

Except for six or so foolish answers, I really enjoyed reading these answers, and your question. I am so glad to see so many of you with the right attitude.
I wrote to another about how you feel when you hurt someone, and how you feel when yo help someone. The warm feeling you get with simple goodness is the first step in what the young people rightly call; "What goes around, comes around". to which I will add, "if you want something, give it away." You want love? give love to someone. You want happiness? Cause someone else to be happy. Don't try it, live it. It works.
Vaya con DIOS
