My father questioned this with the same restrictions in placeand come up with an answer, that validated his belief in evolution to a point. If you take into account that Adam and Eve had 2 children, Cain and Abel which according to the book resulted in fraticide and the other being banished what happened from there? He surmised Cain went forth and mated with primates, hence a variation in species, kind of like Planet of the Apes with human genomes mixed in. Then of course as the progeny spread and reproduced they adapted to their environments over time. Okay, so that works....but then along comes Noah

YOU CAN'T EVEN ANSWER YOUR OWN QUESTION!!!

YOUR QUESTION IS SO UNFAIR because even an EVOLUTIONIST can't explain the DIRECT CAUSE of all the variations. You yourself can't answer your own question if we allowed you to inject your ideas.

I did a college paper on evolution v. creationism so I have my own opinion which may not be what you want to hear. First, there are two types of evolution and creationism. This needs to be emphasized from the start for clarity. There is micro-evolution (small change) and macro-evolution (large change). Your definition of evolution is too narrow minded. "Change" or Evolution has differences in itself. Hell, even the concept of Evolution has changed. If you don't open your conceptualization up more you are going to get very frustrated at other people's concepts not conforming to your narrow concept.

THE FACT IS: virtually every generalized statement about the amount of time it takes to impliment an evolutionary process (purported to take great amounts of time to occur) has been disproved by factual evidence showing the evolutionary process takes about 1/10 of the time to occur.

Right now you probably don't like me for calling you narrow minded. You could either consider that as a possibility or get mad and disregard the comment and me as worth considering. I am just offering my opinion of how you are coming across on your question.

I would like to offer you something to consider: My research paper between Evolution and Creationism focused on how those people INTERPRET THE SCIENTIFIC DATA. One simple example showed who was more factual and who was not. The forelimb of person can be compared bone for bone to the wing of a bird or the flipper of a whale. The Evolutionist sees the evidence and interprets it by saying, "Common ancestor." The Creation scientist sees the same evidence and says, "Common design." Now, there is no ASSUMPTION in saying, "Common design." But, there is a huge ASSUMPTION when a scientist says, "Common ancestor."

COMMON SENSE tells us it is the EVOLUTIONIST that makes ASSUMPTIONS not the Creation scientist.

There are two pairs of genes controlling skin tone. If Adam and Eve were both heterozygous (AaBb), then with sixteen children, there could be light skin, dark skin, and every shade in between, in a single generation.

As far as "evolution," everybody will admit that microevolution, changes within a type, exists. The debate is about macroevolution, changes across a type. You can take two living dogs and, with time and patience, breed chihuahuas and great danes. You can't start with slime and end up with anything except slime.

Evolution. Yes I know you said do not invoke evolution but what is the the point of asking a question and then asking people not to give you the most sensible and logical Answer. You dont need to incorporate recent changes they happened over a long period of time Adam and Eve did not sudenly appear around 4000Bc. The AAnswer is Evolution whether you like it or not, whether you make your silly attempt to suppress it or not. If you cannot accept what is sensible and logical and have to tell people what to nnswer then DONT WASTE MY TIME.

The publication The Races of Mankind, by anthropologists R. Benedict and G. Weltfish, observes: “The Bible story of Adam and Eve, father and mother of the whole human race, told centuries ago the same truth that science has shown today: that all the peoples of the earth are a single family and have a common origin.” These writers also point out that “the intricate make-up of the human body . . . couldn’t possibly have ‘just happened’ to be the same in all men if they did not have a common origin.”

The pamphlet Race and Biology, by L. C. Dunn, professor of zoology at Columbia University, says: “All men clearly belong to one species, being alike in all the fundamental physical characters. Members of all groups may intermarry and actually do.” Then it goes on to explain: “Yet every man is unique and differs in minor ways from every other man. This is in part due to the different environments in which people live and in part to differences in the genes which they have inherited.”

What explains the development of the various racial characteristics?

“All men living today belong to a single species, Homo sapiens, and are derived from a common stock. . . . Biological differences between human beings are due to differences in hereditary constitution and to the influence of the environment on this genetic potential. In most cases, those differences are due to the interaction of these two sets of factors. . . . Differences between individuals within a race or within a population are often greater than the average differences between races or populations.” An international body of scientists convened by UNESCO, quoted in Statement on Race

I'm sorry, but the explanation is gradual changes over time. You really can't ask a question and disallow the right answer if you really want an answer. But then, maybe you're trying to prove some sort of point by requiring answerers to fit their answers to your rules? That is no question. That is utter stupidity.

Gee...hmmmmmm, how bout....Second Law Of Thermal Dynamics???? That kinda sums it up, how do u explain a reptile slowly changing into a complicated animal like the bird, with its advanced lungs, and hollow bones...reptiles did not have hollow bones...look at ur eyes, or someone elses, u really think that ur eyes, that can see depth, and round and spherical objects, and the abibilty to take in certain amounts of lights, all made by chance? By a random mutation? Besides, where the heck are all the in between fossils? where is the lizard turning into a bird? where??

I think the location of a group of peoples has an impact on their overall appearance. Dont believe in evolution(apes, single celled organisms) but I do believe our bodies can adapt.
