I believe that Kenzie K. had a slightly less biased and more informed response. The 'name' Nazi was actually what one might refer to as a slang term for the National Socialist Party. Hitler joined the Nazi Party in 1919 (or 1921 I forget which) and was indulged in his Anti-Semitic ways by a few scholars of a nineteenth century gypsy who claimed she was a prophet of things to come. She invented the concept of an Aryan race, beings who walked amongst humans as the evolved organisms that had yet to come. But she claimed that their survival could only be ensured if they were placed on a pedestal while the rest of the world was wiped out to ensure their survival and also that they would not run the risk of inter-breeding with humans hence creating an offspring that was not quite human or Aryan. A varitable mutt in a manner of speaking.
The atrocities that Hitler gave the order to be carried out came to be associated with the Nazi Party because that was his political affiliation. Truth be told Hitler did not just impose his sadism exclusively on the Jews, but also anyone who ticked him off disagreed with him or stood in his way, including people in his political party. There are people today who call themselves Neo-Nazis and Nazis because they are racists or anti-Semitic pricks.
But they are also idiots who just kind of went with the flow because they did not want to do their homework so they could figure out that the Nazi Party was a political party not much unlike the Democrats or Republicans of America. And Hitler was a twisted evil little genius who took advantage of the fact that the German people were generally feeling repressed and down and out in the middle of an economic meltdown and could easily be manipulated to follow him if he appeared strong enough to lead them out of the darkness so to speak.
Oh, and he happened to have joined the National Socialist Party instead of taking some other political venue open to him at the time.
P.S. I am not in any way advocating Hitler or stating that his endeavors are in any way shape or form similar to that of American politics or government...

i feel that the Nazis were just mislead people. it is Hitler that had the problem a certified psycho path. some people just needed something to believe in and unfortunately for them Hitler was the idol most available. don't get me wrong i ain't defending them i have ancestors that had to go through the living hell that the Nazis created i just feel that the finger should be pointed towards Hitler not his brain washed followers.

Nazis were doing what they believed was right, no matter how evil.
Europeans came to north america, enslaved africans and killed people they believed were witches because they thought it was right.
Also, Eurupeans destroyed a culture that worshipped the elements and turned them into people who believe in god.
Nazis may have overdone it, but these are the same things, but smaller scales.

No I don't like them at all!
Nazi's in history killed 6 million people in WW2.
Nazi's today are sexist, racist, extremely violent and very dangerous idiots!

Nazis were mass murderers. They killed millions of Jews, handicapped people, gays, Protestants, union members, and anyone who disagreed with them or anyone who wasn't blond and blue eyed. So your question about liking them is ridiculous.
