It depends on who you are and what you are into. My bf and I are really into nature and food, so it made sense that our first date was to a local diner and then to go hiking. I didn't realize that it was a date at the time (we're in college) and I wore really tight jeans and a flirty tank to the diner and then ripped jeans, and thermal T and a sweatshirt.
Some good places are: coffee shops (you can get out of there in a hurry if it isn't going well), an ice cream stand, put-put golf, or a flea market.
What I normally wear: if it is before 4 pm, wear jeans and a cute, slightly dressy shirt. Only show off your chest or your belly, not both, and then dress sandals or shoes. I normally wear my hair down with really light makeup (mascara and chapstick). After 4 I would wear either black paints with a dressy tank and dress shoes or a cute dress. I tend to wear my hair back and have heavier makeup (eyes done and lipstick).
Good Luck!

Well since it is the summer, I think a date to the beach during the evening would be fun. I live in NH and the Hampton Casino Ballroom is right on the beach. You can go to a concert of comedy show, have dinner and walk the beach. You can dress casual. I nice blouse and capri jeans with cute shoes.

Me I would be in a formal attire such as a tux with a cream
colored vest and take the lucky lady to a night at michaels restaurant in new york afterward enjoy a night in the city
most likely I would prefer it to be a rainy night to give it a more romantic setting

I would recommend what I did on my first date with my husband. We went to Bristol Faire. We wore casual clothing. I had on a sundress because it was hot. He had jeans and a T shirt. It was very romantic. We watched the jousting, looked at arts and crafts, watched Shakespearian skits. It was a lot of fun.

I'm an adventurous gal and i say head for the carnival or fair. it is fun and usually pretty cheep. dressing well that's a little harder. be sure not to wear a dress of skirt in case you ride a ride that flips you over. i say wear a sassy shirt and tight jeans or cut of shorts. that always gets their attention.

Where you go really depends on how long you`ve known each other. If you have known him/her for a long time go some place you both like and were something casuale. If you have only known him for less than a year go to something simple like a movie.
