get the coffee (powder) and mix it with a little bit of water just so it wont be dry then add matte medium that u use on acrylics to make it thicker , then paint use a brush you don't like cuz u will ruin it , they also sell an ink same color as coffee or soy sauce if u like its tonality . have fun

Y'know, I've actually done that. My friend and I were too lazy to get water, so we used a cup of old iced coffee my friend has to mix with the paint and stuff. It was cool. Paper smelled like coffee when we were done.

I think you would have to make it really strong. Either that or mix some instant coffee with just a little bit of water and swirl your brush in it. But don't touch my coffee or you'll lose a hand.

I would think that you'd need to make the solution strong enough that you could work with it.
Use a brush that holds liquids well, and paper that won't curl up (watercolor paper would probably work best). If you want different tones of color add water to the coffee.
Use less water for darker tones and more for lighter ones.
