I have hair done a little past my shoulders and wear it in a ponytail, any ideas of what to do with it?

My hair is exactly the same its so annoying i normally wear it down straightened but sumtimes i wear it in high ponytail i wear it in bunches the low 1's behind my head there isnt alot you can do with short hair thats why i'm growing it out
