My personal feeling is that you degrade the very nature of sex when you flirt with it outside of the covenants of marriage. That goes for premarital sex as well. Sex is in no way dirty it is sacred meant to be kept within the bonds of marriage.

It's not ok. People do it because they feel like failures in their marriage and it's too scary to talk about and deal with. They get a feeling of power and get back at their spouse for their feeling of inadequacy. It's a chance to reinvent themselves to someone else..... to say "this guy/gal doesn't know about my shortcomings". Then it is a quick fix because it reaffirms their need to feel desirable and in control. They eventually feel ashamed for lacking the courage and integirty to lean on their chosen life partner for help. They feel like crap for betraying the trust. Some move on, some lie and rationalize it. Still, IT IS NOT OK to do. It means you lack self-esteem.

why wouldnt it be? all animals procreate without having some other animal telling them they can. most of them dont mate for life. the truth is...we can do whatever we want and nothing is going to stop us. not "God", not moral fiber. I love to have sex and i dont think its fair to have to go through the agony of marriage to do so. What makes you think its not ok?
