Speaking as one who spent a month in New Zealand last November, I'd move there in a heartbeat if I could.
But the question is, why do you want to move? Is it because you like wonderful scenery and outdoor sports......if this is the case, you'd be in the right place.
I know to immigrate to New Zealand, you have to be young, and have marketable skills. Here's a web site that tells about immigrating to New Zealand.

Here's another site with a list of jobs available.

And finally, here's the official government of New Zealand web site for immigration.

Good luck!

No, NZ in my opinion is not a good place to reside, economically speaking. Everything is just sooo expensive, and this includes housing, renting, buying a car, clothing. However, food is on a par to here in Australia.
The food once purchased, actually is very fresh and the seafood has a taste of it own - beautiful!
Petrol is another factor - its so over priced, so running a small car is almost compulsory.
Now the people are quite friendly, and th scenic views are out of this world.
In summary, it all depends on how conservatively you are able to live and if you think the economic factors balance out the scenic enjoyment.
The balance of probabilities are against this, due to half the population of NZ live right here in Australia.

if you like nature then new zealand it might a place for you to move, i'm have no ideal the housing there but what i kno is a very boring place to live, the people is friendly but populatian is less. actualy i got the holiday working scheme i can stay up to a year in new zealand but many told me that is a boring place they said in my character is not the place for me to live cause i am city person. i think you better go visit NZ first then make your decision.
