the most grotesque superstition I am aware of in major world religions are the ones involving crucifixion and ingesting the body and blood of the person crucified. Human sacrifice and cannibalism.

There are lots of superstitions in Judeo-Christian religion. We are told they are items of faith. I am sure you can fill in the blanks. Whatever we are told just to "believe" are elements that would be considered myths in other religions.
