Turn on your light so they all buzz up there then get your most painful shoes that u dont like and start whacking them with the heel! Or you could just buy one of those plug in spray machines... your choice

I am an Aussie who has had plenty of experience with these critters. Two answers:

1. Don't go outside around dusk when they are most activeI

2. Use insect repellant and plenty of it.

they don't like people with high levels of vitimin B in their blood, so eat lots of marmite or vegimite.
I live off the stuff and never got bitten over a whole year, where as my friend who didn't was covered head to toe!
