I had braces for 4 years and I ate anything and everything I wanted too. I did not let my braces decide what I had to eat. I never broke anything because of something I ate.

Most sticky candy's. I will also advice to not bite on anything hard like an apple, cut it into small pieces first then. Don't drink a lot of coke becuase that ruins the cement thing that sticks your braces on your teeth. They tell you not to chew gum but nothing really happens. Hope this helps.

can't eat any chewy candy, choclate, peanuts or nuts. Corn on the cob, fruit you have to cut up into small pieces, gum and chicken wings. If you are going to get braces they will let you know of the foods that you can't eat.

Difficult to bite off like corn cob and whole apple, and sticky stuff like toffee... However, you can always cut them down to appropriate small sizes and put them into your tongue, taste it or chew with your molars....
