For a grown up, 7 to 8 hours sleep is necessary on a daily basis. Sleep deprivation may lead to sleep deficit, which may manifest by excessive sleep to recover on the lost hours of sleep.

generaally, yes; some nights its less, about 2 or 3 hors , but then others its like way more- 15 or 17 hrs, so its all ok; i guess it all comes out even... but a good healthy dose of sunshine in the day, and a warm, not hot bath tub at night, is the perfect sleeping pill.
