I do not believe in the Trinity, these are my reasons. Hundreds of years ago the Catholic Church invented it little by little, and your Modern day Religions accepted this teaching, if you check, most all christian religions teach, trinity, hellfire, immortal soul, etc., etc., just about the same as the Catholic Church.
“Concerning that day and hour nobody knows, neither the angels of the heavens nor the Son, but only the Father.” (Matthew 24:36) How do these words confirm that Jesus is not Almighty God?
Jesus says that the Father knows more than the Son does. If Jesus were part of Almighty God, however, he would know the same facts as his Father. So, then, the Son and the Father cannot be equal. Yet, some will say: ‘Jesus had two natures. Here he speaks as a man.’ But even if that were so, what about the holy spirit? If it is part of the same God as the Father, why does Jesus not say that it knows what the Father knows?
1st of all Jesus said: He pointed to God as the Source of his life, saying, “I live because of the Father.” According to the context, this meant that his life resulted from or was caused by his Father, even as the gaining of life by dying men would result from their faith in Jesus’ ransom sacrifice.—Joh 6:56, 57.
Jesus’ being called the “only-begotten Son” (Joh 1:14; 3:16, 18) does not mean that the other spirit creatures produced were not God’s sons, for they are called sons as well. (Ge 6:2, 4; Job 1:6) However, by virtue of his being the sole direct creation of his Father, the firstborn Son was unique, different from all others of God’s sons, all of whom were created or begotten by Jehovah through that firstborn Son. So “the Word” was Jehovah’s “only-begotten Son” in a particular sense,
Jesus is also “Mighty God” and “Eternal Father.” This does not mean that he usurps the authority and position of Jehovah, who is “God our Father.” (2 Corinthians 1:2) “He [Jesus] . . . gave no consideration to a seizure, namely, that he should be equal to God.” (Philippians 2:6) He is called Mighty God, not Almighty God. Jesus never thought of himself as God Almighty, for he spoke of his Father as “the only true God,” that is, the only God who should be worshiped. (John 17:3;
Rev. 1:1; 3:14, RS: “The revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave him, why did God have to give the revelation to Jesus, if he is God? .
Does the Bible teach that none of those who are said to be included in the Trinity is greater or less than another, that all are equal, that all are almighty? Mark 13:32, RS: “Of that day or that hour no ones knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father.” (Of course, that would not be the case if Father, Son, and Holy Spirit were coequal, comprising one Godhead. And if, as some suggest, the Son was limited by his human nature from knowing, the question remains, Why did the Holy Spirit not know?)
John 14:28, RS: “[Jesus said:] If you loved me, you would have rejoiced, because I go to the Father; for the Father is greater than I.”
1 Cor. 11:3, RS: “I want you to understand that the head of every man is Christ, the head of a woman is her husband, and the head of Christ is God.” (Clearly, then, Christ is not God, and God is of superior rank to Christ. It should be noted that this was written about 55 C.E., some 22 years after Jesus returned to heaven.
A person who is really seeking to know the truth about God is not going to search the Bible hoping to find a text that he can construe as fitting what he already believes. He wants to know what God’s Word itself says. He may find some texts that he feels can be read in more than one way, but when these are compared with other Biblical statements on the same subject their meaning will become clear. It should be noted at the outset that most of the texts used as “proof” of the Trinity actually mention only two persons, not three; so even if the Trinitarian explanation of the texts were correct, these would not prove that the Bible teaches the Trinity.

I don't believe in the trinity because some ancient pagans taught something similar; I believe in the trinity because the Bible teaches it.
The Father is God (Ephesians 4:6).
Jesus is God (Matthew 1:22-23).
The Holy Spirit is God (Acts 5:3-4).
Yet at the same time:
The Father is not the Son (Luke 22:42).
The Son is not the Holy Spirit (John 14:16).
The Holy Spirit is not the Father (Luke 11:13).
The Bible does not use the word "trinity." For this reason, I usually use the Biblical word "Godhead."
Jesus has every aspect of God (Colossians 2:9); there is no aspect in which He is less than God. He has the nature of God and the nature of man; for this reason, He is called the Son of God and the Son of Man. He was never created; in the Beginning, Jesus already existed (John 1:1-3).
The Holy Spirit has person-like qualities. He can be grieved (Ephesians 4:30). He can speak (1 Timothy 4:1).

Within Christianity, the doctrine of the Trinity states that God is a single Being who exists, simultaneously and eternally, as a periphrasis of three persons (personae, prosopa): Father (the Source, the Eternal Majesty); the Son (the eternal Logos or Word, incarnate as Jesus of Nazareth); and the Holy Spirit (the Paraclete or advocate). Since the 4th Century AD, in both Eastern and Western Christianity, this doctrine has been stated as "One God in Three Persons," all three of whom, as distinct and co-eternal "persons" or "hypostases," share a single Divine essence, being, or nature. Supporting the doctrine of the Trinity is known as Trinitarians, and is opposed to the positions of Binitarianism (two deities/persons/aspects), and Unitarianism (one deity/person/aspect), which are held by some minor Christian groups.

the main reason rests on the following two things reasonably concluded from the New Testament
1) Jesus, the Holy Spirit and the Father are God
2) Jesus, the Father and the Spirit are not eachother
this yield the Trinity, from tinitas for threeness
once one takes these two points they believe in the Trinity
God is one in essense and three in persons
http://www.angelfire.com/space/thegospeltruth/trinity/articles/egoeimi.html
in fact, the Father Son and Spiirit appear in every possible order together in the New testament usually each order more than once
they are three persons with the same the same essence
they are not one person wearing three hats

You are exactly right, there is no evidence and you can historically trace where it started from discussion amongst church fathers. If people are logical they can ponder, why would God send prophets to explain the truth and then leave out the most important part, without which no one can apparently be saved. In the bible it says come let us reason together not close your eyes and stick your fingers in your ears. Plus the idea of trinity goes actively against everything that has preceded it in the bible. The trinity is the best example of christian refusal to reason

About God, the Father:
"This is what you are to say to the Israelites: 'I AM has sent me to you.' " (ex. 3:14)
About God, the Son:
"Jesus said to them, Verily, verily, I tell you, before Abraham was, I AM." (John 8:58)
"In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God." (John 1:1)
"For by him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things were created by him and for him. He is before all things, and in him all things hold together." (Col 1:16-17)
Jesus, seeing their faith, said to the paralytic, "Son, your sins are forgiven you." But there were some of the scribes sitting there, and reasoning in their hearts,"Why does this man speak blasphemies like that? Who can forgive sins but GOD alone?" (Mark 2:5 - 7)
"I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End." (Rev. 22:13)
About God, the Holy Spirit:
"...how can Satan have so possessed you that you should lie to the Holy Spirit ...It is not to men that you have lied, but to God." (Acts 5:3-5)
"Therefore, even as the Holy Spirit says, "Today if you will hear his voice, don't harden your hearts, as in the rebellion, like as in the day of the trial in the wilderness, where your fathers tested ME by proving ME, and saw MY works for forty years. Therefore I was displeased with that generation, and said,'They always err in their heart, but they didn't know MY ways;'" (Heb 3:1)
[[**NOTE: You said "Never in the Bible does it show the Holy Spirit with a personality or other life-like abilities. You are wrong, and this is not the only place in scripture where the Holy Spirit has a DEFINITE personality. Here's another:
"But the one and the same Spirit works all of these, distributing to each one separately as He desires." (1 Cor 12:11)
And another...
"One day while they were offering worship to the Lord and keeping a fast, the Holy Spirit said, "I want Barnabas and Saul set apart for the work which I have called them." (Acts 13:2) ]]
"Now there are various kinds of gifts, but the same SPIRIT. There are various kinds of service, and the same LORD. There are various kinds of workings, but the same GOD, who works all things in all." (1 Cor 12:4-6)
About God, the Trinity:
"God said, "Let US make man in OUR image, after OUR likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the birds of the sky, and over the livestock, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth." (Gen 1:26)
"go, therefore, and make disciples of all the nations; baptize them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit..." (Matt 28:19).
**NOTE: Jesus did not say in the "names" of each person, but in the NAME of all three (Greek "homonos").
...I hope that helps to clear up any confusion you had about why Christians believe in the Trinity.

the word trinaty may not be in the bible but it is a word that someone has said and it has cought on and is used today . You may know the bible well but you need to know there are thirteen bibles .That the first one was made of man. just picked out what they thought was nesasary and made one, so the bible is missing so much information in it so this word could well be in the others . but as long as the vadacan keps the others and dose not give peple the truth the hole truth ,we will be limited in what the real light is.
Jesus in the bible is said to be god son but in the bible we are all chldren of god so was he any more special then the rest of us, or just a man that found his abilitys and used them as people do today but are condemed for it . do you really think if he mad man in jesus likeness he would not give us his gifts as well. well he did but the church dose not exsept it for we would not find the Pope to be the one we worship .It would be many people . Take a good look at religion and tell me about all the hate and bitterenss it has cossed and how many lifes have bin taken becouse of riligion . So find the history of christianity and tell me what is really the truth. The great one is real he is a unbalivabel enrgy of light and to be in its presents is a subperbly magnifascent thing but how his children are being tought he is not happy with. .So keep him in your heart and judge none of there ways your temple is in you, not in a book for it is limated. bilive in him and yourself and he will fill your mind with the truth of all. if there is any spelling mistaks I am sorry but the sell check is not working right now

*** rs p. 405 - p. 406 Trinity *** Trinity Definition: The valuable doctrine of religions of Christendom. According to the Athanasian Creed, there are 3 divine Persons (the Father, the Son, the Holy Ghost), each and every stated to be everlasting, each and every stated to be almighty, none bigger or lower than one other, each and every stated to be God, and but in combination being however one God. Other statements of the dogma emphasize that those 3 “Persons” don't seem to be separate and targeted contributors however are 3 modes where the divine essence exists. Thus a few Trinitarians emphasize their notion that Jesus Christ is God, or that Jesus and the Holy Ghost are Jehovah. Not a Bible instructing. What is the foundation of the Trinity doctrine? The New Encyclopædia Britannica says: “Neither the phrase Trinity, nor the specific doctrine as such, looks within the New Testament, nor did Jesus and his fans intend to contradict the Shema within the Old Testament: ‘Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God is one Lord’ (Deut. 6:four). . . . The doctrine built progressively over a few centuries and via many controversies. . . . By the top of the 4th century . . . the doctrine of the Trinity took appreciably the sort it has maintained ever due to the fact that.”—(1976), Micropædia, Vol. X, p. 126. The New Catholic Encyclopedia states: “The components ‘one God in 3 Persons’ used to be no longer solidly founded, definitely no longer utterly assimilated into Christian lifestyles and its career of religion, earlier to the top of the 4th century. But it's accurately this components that has first declare to the identify the Trinitarian dogma. Among the Apostolic Fathers, there were not anything even remotely coming near this kind of mentality or standpoint.”—(1967), Vol. XIV, p. 299. In The Encyclopedia Americana we learn: “Christianity derived from Judaism and Judaism used to be strictly Unitarian [believing that God is one character]. The street which led from Jerusalem to Nicea used to be scarcely a instantly one. Fourth century Trinitarianism didn't replicate competently early Christian instructing related to the character of God; it used to be, on the opposite, a deviation from this instructing.”—(1956), Vol. XXVII, p. 294L. According to the Nouveau Dictionnaire Universel, “The Platonic trinity, itself simply a rearrangement of older trinities relationship again to prior peoples, looks to be the rational philosophic trinity of attributes that gave start to the 3 hypostases or divine humans taught by way of the Christian church buildings. . . . This Greek thinker’s [Plato, fourth century B.C.E.] perception of the divine trinity . . . may also be determined in the entire old [pagan] religions.”—(Paris, 1865-1870), edited by way of M. Lachâtre, Vol. two, p. 1467. John L. McKenzie, S.J., in his Dictionary of the Bible, says: “The trinity of humans inside the harmony of nature is outlined in phrases of ‘character’ and ‘nature’ that are G[ree]ok philosophical phrases; honestly the phrases don't seem within the Bible. The trinitarian definitions arose because the outcomes of lengthy controversies where those phrases and others reminiscent of ‘essence’ and ‘substance’ had been erroneously implemented to God by way of a few theologians.”—(New York, 1965), p. 899. Even even though, as Trinitarians recognize, neither the phrase “Trinity”

Philippians 2
3Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit, but in humility consider others better than yourselves.
4Each of you should look not only to your own interests, but also to the interests of others.
5Your attitude should be the same as that of Christ Jesus:
6Who, being in very nature God,
did not consider equality with God something to be grasped,
7but made himself nothing,
taking the very nature of a servant,
being made in human likeness.
8And being found in appearance as a man,
he humbled himself
and became obedient to death—
even death on a cross!
9Therefore God exalted him to the highest place
and gave him the name that is above every name,
10that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow,
in heaven and on earth and under the earth,
11and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord,
to the glory of God the Father.
John 4:24
24God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.
John 1
1In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
2The same was in the beginning with God.
3All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.
4In him was life; and the life was the light of men.
5And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.
John 1:14
14And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.
There is no Trinity...Be baptized in the NAME of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit...not "names". There is not God in three persons. Jesus is God...the way you are human and so would be your child...the two of you a family..."Let us make man in our image.." He is the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob and stood with Shadrach, Meshack and Abindego through the fire just as He will stand with us through the fire when He returns on the day of Judgement. Jesus is God. Love in Christ, ~J~ <><

Finally some one realizes this, but the Christians won't believe that Jesus isn't god because that's what they were taught. It's kinda like brain washing in a way even this won't make them realize what they are doing is wrong by corrupting a religion.
