There's many programs out there that offer Karaoke which can lower the voice singing or elminate it all together. Depending on the song and the source of which it's reading from.

There's more complicated software out there that creates music. This too can eliminate the voice, but again it depends on the song and the source of which it's reading from.

The final suggestion is to look online for the Karaoke version of the song you're looking for. If it's a popular song, you will probably have little difficulty finding the song. But you're garanteed that there will be no voice.

If the song is one that you bought, ie: from the store on CD or dl'd, then no. The song is burned onto the disc as one track. If you were making the music on your computer using a program like ProTools, during the creating process, all the sounds are on thier own track, once you finalize the song and burn it to a disc, the tracks are then combined together. The same goes for songs from famous artists. When the recording is being done in the studio, the sounds are all on seperate tracks. Then a person edits and adjusts volume and such. When they are satisfied with what they hear, they finialize the song which combines the tracks to make them one complete sound.

If its just the music you want, I'd suggest searching online for an instrumental version or perhaps karaoke CD's.
