I really wish and pray that prayers work. If prayers really did work, everyone would have what they want and we wouldnt have this situation would we? However, it is important to spare a thought to those that are less fortunate than us and ask god to bless them with all they need to survive and live. In the name of the Lord, we pray, Amen.

Whom to you is "unfortunate"? Those who have less money, those without a house, those with feelings of hunger, those under military rule???? Who?

Please do not judge another's life by their appearance or situation...all is as it should be & will change when new choices are made toward such by those in each experience.

How about "Let's say a prayer for all things...that we co-exist more closely & lovingly...without judgement, expectation, & with great acceptance"???? I'm in!

Lord, make us instruments of your peace.
Where there is hatred, let us sow love;
Where there is injury, pardon;
Where there is discord, union;
Where there is doubt, faith;
Where there is despair, hope;
Where there is darkness, light;
Where there is sadness, joy.

Grant that we may not so much seek
To be consoled, as to console;
To be understood as to understand;
And to be loved as to love.

For it is in giving that we receive,
It is in pardoning that we are pardoned,
and it is in dying that we are born to eternal life.

Amen
