Not to say that I'm any better than those that do or any different for that matter, but I've never been one to beat up some conversation over my beliefs. It doesnt work, and it doesnt help anybody but the ego of the person doing it. Last I checked, Jesus wasnt about ego.
Lead by example, people will ask, and you will be able to share why you do what you do and believe what you believe. It is far more effective than any cramming, although cramming for tests worked well for me.

I share my faith by my actions and by my kindness. I try to treat every person with the respect and consideration that they deserve. When someone asks me about my faith, I simply tell them what I believe. I never ever tell anyone that they're doomed if the don't convert immediately. I also believe in loving people where they are and letting them change or not change when they're ready. Christians should be open and loving not preachy and close-minded. Christ himself set the example by welcoming the least good from society and telling them that they are important and worthy. This question that you asked is something that I feel very strongly about.

Through good conduct. Also, there are times that people want to know about religion. Since Christians were commanded by our leader, Christ, to preach the good news...we are under obligation to teach those who are looking for truth. However, no where are we told to force our religion on others. In fact, we're under moral obligation to respect all people and also their wishes should they not wish to accept our teachings. In most cases, example and good works are the best way to share our faith.

Just lead by example. People who aren't religious don't want it shoved down their throats, so going to their houses and witnessing is not going to get you anywhere. Just be a good person and set a good example, and people will follow your lead, even if it takes more time.
Some people may feel like they can study their own religion in their own home. Just because they don't go to church doesn't mean they have to go to yours.

If you are smart you won´t cram religion down a persons throat. It is impossible to get any understanding of the word if you do it that way. God is knocking on your door man, is up to you to open the door. NOBODY, i mean, NOBODY can open that door for you. God bless

I was raised with the concept of "less talk and more action." Living a Christian life can not only inspire other Christians in your community, but you can also become a powerful example of Christ's love for non-Christians. If someone happens to comment on how you live, happily credit your god and faith.
Sometimes less (talk, in this case) is more.

Me thinks perhaps cramming is in the eye of the beholder.

If you get a good answer to that, let me know. I have been pagan for 24 years and I have yet to find one who could although I have met those who would simply agree to disagree with you for the sake of sanity.

Just act normal and be settle like send Christmas cards or say God Bless you, etc.
I would also consult with your Pastor. This isn't a new phenomenon.
