I found the love of my life 6 years ago. We had four years together, then he decided to leave the relationship. I have spent the last two years going from grieving (which is a natural process) to dating other people, and then taking breaks from dating. I have met 22 different men in the past two years. Only two asked me out for a second date. I can't seem to find someone who I connect with. How do I move on, when I can't find someone to move on with?

I have been to counselling. So I guess that just makes me more of a loser than ever, huh?

Wow! Pandora......Such hostility in your words. I find it very ironic that you think I should be more empathetic. Don't you know that all caps is the equivalent of shouting? Maybe you do. But my question to you is this: How the F U C K do you know anything about me to assume these things you have said about me?

The first thing you do is stop looking. When you least expect it it will happen. Just go out and do something you enjoy and have fun, you never know when someone will approach you. Always look your best when you leave the house and always smile. Never look too deparet, men can sense that. just be happy with you and men will notice. Make sure you look beautiful all the time. Men don't like ugly women

I have the same problem as you. I have finally decided to take care of myself. I feel so good about myself now that I don't need another person to move on with. I fine by myself. When the time comes you'll meet "Mr. Right"

If you haven't gotten over this guy in two years, then maybe some counseling is the answer. Sometimes you just have to force yourself to move on.

QUIT EXPECTING OTHER PEOPLE TO MAKE YOU HAPPY!!!

NO ONE WANTS THAT KIND OF RESPONSIBILITY.

DESPARATION IS UNATTRACTIVE AND SCARES PEOPLE AWAY.

THE WAY PEOPLE TREAT PEOPLE IS A REFLECTION OF HOW THEY FEEL ABOUT THEMSELVES.

NEEDINESS SUCKS THE LIFE OUT OF OTHERS.

TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR YOUR FEELINGS.

ACCOMPLISHMENTS BUILD SELF ESTEEM.

MAKE YOURSELF HAPPY SO OTHERS WILL WANT TO BE AROUND TO SHARE IT WITH YOU.

YOU CAN'T MAKE ANYONE LIKE YOU, YOU CAN ONLY MAKE THEM DISLIKE YOU.

DON'T BE SELF-ABSORBED. BE EMPATHETIC.

IF YOU THINK YOU WON'T BE SUCCESSFUL IN RELATIONSHIPS, THEN YOU WILL BE RIGHT.....
THINK ABOUT IT.
