on yahoo messenger?.....Everything is where it should be and working properly.....Do you think i should unplug the modem and then reboot..?????

Dont you div's read the questions properly ........and yes Skeeter i do have sound on other sites but anything that runs on macro media flash will play but there is no sound....

Have you tried in messenger clicking messenger, preferences, calling and audio and checking it's not set to silent.... Probably done that already but I'm thick so it's all I can think of....

Is the software to your sound card still installed?
Do you have messenger with "voice?"
Do you get sound on other sites...
Yeah, what the flip...Start with a complete re-boot.
