yes. i was in the military and i saw several new privates come to my company that were extremely shy and reserved. after about a year of being in, their whole personality changed, they were no longer shy anymore. now im not saying they were total extroverts but they had made a big change and did just fine in the military.

Theyre never gonna such as you.. they like the undesirable boys that tell them each and all of the lame lies early on like "i admire you" "want you" etc... u understand particularly laying it on thick in basic terms so the guy can get some... factor is, the only time ladies will like the shy type, is while theyre in there 30s, been divorced and desire to settle for a superb guy.. yet do you rather must be somebody that a woman settled for, 2pnd option to a used up woman in her 30s... The military is famous for tearing down your old personality and rebuilding you in their own image. I would say yes. That type of personality might actually be an advantage on the battlefield because they can stay cool and calm and focus on the mission at hand. In other words, I think they might make good officers.

I did. I served nine years and achieved the rank of Staff Sergeant. I consider myself to be shy and reserved.

When I went into basic training I was an introverted wall flower. Seriously... My friends that I work with now have no idea what I was like. They don't believe me when I say that I changed in basic training. After that I knew I could accomplish whatever I wanted. (So long as it was legal:)
