The seat lets back and moves backwards and forwards. I can sometimes hold the switch or continously push the switch forward and it will eventually go up but it takes hours of pushing and holding.

If it occasionally works, it is more than likely not a fuse, if a fuse was blown, or a relay for that matter, you would have no power to the seat at all. Most likely is a bad contact in the switch. Some of the switches made can be disassembled and cleaned, but your best bet would be to go to a dealership or pull it yourself junkyard and get a replacement switch. Just remember, a used switch may have the same problem and you cannot return electrical parts.

most likely cause is the switch although the armature for the height motor may have a dead segment if this is the case the whole motor base will have to be replaced as that is the only way available from ford [no individual motors] recommend try switch first

power set has 3 or 4 motors under it, one maybe stuck, or the switch is no good. Make sure there is nothing under the seat that is stopping it.

not a fuse. if it was then it would never work at all. Likely that the gears on one of the motors is damaged and only making contact some of the time hench the slow movement.

Could be...have you replaced it yet? Better question...is the seat all the way up now? Try moving it back to find out

Sounds like the motor or gears that control the upward movement are damaged.
