Actually, doctors recommend tea as a light laxitive for infants. It's pretty common, and is supposed to help with upset tummies. I gave my baby tea when he was small.

No and you should make sure she doesn't. Tea has caffeine which isn't good for a five month old (plus, their brain is developing and this could hamper its proper growth). Opt for milk or breastfeeding, etc.
