How do you get mentos into diet coke without it fizzing?

i mean so you can throw it on the ground for it to blow up , how do you get them in there and then close the cap?

Drop it in there and put the cap on really quick and quick as you can and throw it outside somewhere....if you are going to try this make sure you wear safety goggles and clothing where it want hurt you if it explodes.

There's no real trick to it. You will have some of it shoot out. Just try doing it as quickly as possible. 2 people will be necessary, one to drop the mentos and one to put on the cap. The only thing is, i'm not sure if it will explode. Why?

The mentos works by allowing the CO2 to bubble out of the soda solution. This is due to the fact that there are tiny initiation sites on the rough surface of the mentos. Since there is a pressure gradient between the soda and the atmosphere, the solubility of the CO2 is naturally lowered and thus the CO2 will eventually leave the soda. Thus, after a certain point, inside the bottle the pressure will balance the solubility of the CO2 in the soda and it's possible that the thing might not explode at all.

take them mentos out of the foil but do not tear the paper outside. Put as many mentos as you think is necessary back into the paper, take the lid off the Coke bottle. this way the mentos will slide in very quickly all at once and then you screw on the top.

Make a funnel by cutting the top fourth off off another plastic Diet Coke bottle. Invert it on top of the full bottle and then pour the Mentos into the funnel.

What they do is... drill a hole in the cap, put thread through the hole, tie the mentos into a little bundle with that thread, put the cap back on, then let go of the thread and run.

The spray comes out the hole in the cap.
