WELL FIRST OF ALL SWEETY, A HONEY MOON IS WHAT YOU DO AFTER YOUR MARRIED, SO YOU CANT REALLY PROPOSE TO HER THEN. BUT THE SWEETEST THING YOU COULD DO...HMMM, WELL YOU HAVE TO KNOW YOUR GIRL. HERES SOME ROMANTIC IDEAS.
HAVE A CANDLE LIT DINNER OUTSIDE (OR INSIDE IF THERE IS BAD WEATHER) WITH HER FAVORITE MEAL. AND FOR DESERT SERVE SOMTHING THAT YOU CAN PUT A RING INTO. LIKE ICE CREAM OR JELLO. AND MAKE SURE THAT YOU SERVE THE PEICE WITH THE RING TO HER. AND THAT WAY WHEN SHE IS EATING HER FOOD, SHE WILL FIND IT. BUT IF YOUR SCARED OF HER ACCIDENTLY CHOKING ON IT, THEN TRY SOMETHING ELSE.
IF YOU 2 HAVE A BABY TOGETHER, GO AND SEE IF YOU CAN MAKE THE BABY AN OUT FIT THAT SAYS "WILL YOU MARRY MY DADDY" AND PLACE THE RING ON A NECKLACE AND HANG IT AROUND THE BABYS NECK. AND THEN HAVE A "PRETEND" CRYING MONITOR, AND WHEN SHE GOES INTO THE ROOM, SHE WILL GO TO CHECK ON THE BABY AND SHE WILL SEE THE RING.
YOU JUST NEED TO BE CREATIVE :) THINK OF WHAT SHE WOULD LIKE.
GOOD LUCK!

I wish that I could report that I was super romantic when I proposed to my fiance but have to be honest with both myself and you when answering this for you. My fiance lives two and a half hours away from me. I arrived at her home after working all day then driving there. I never had any idea that I wanted to propose that night so was sitting there bare chested and looking like a bum actually. I looked at her and she looked so fantastic that something came over me and I started crying and got down on my knees and asked her. Well she started bawling too and the next thing you know we were engaged, something that we both swore we'd never do again.
Obviously I'm not suggesting this as a way to propose to the woman that you love. I don't know where you live but if there is a nice revolving restaurant or something in your area that would be nice. Or if your both into a sport like White Water Rafting or something you could ask her during a quiet time between the rapids.
I cannot give you any suggestions for touching her heart during honeymoon as she may read this and see then guess what is awaiting her.
Best of luck to you on your proposal, wedding and honeymoon. I imagine that whatever you do when you propose that your special someone will somehow find some romance in it, even if your as big a dork as I wa when I did it.

First of all, make sure you do the old fashioned thing of going to her father/mother to ask her hand in marriage first. I was sooo touched when I heard that my now husband did this. Plus MAJOR bonus points with the family!
As for the proposal... it all depends on her. But spontanious and surprises are always best. My husband tried too hard to make it perfect that I knew something was up days before. So, if you can keep it a secret that will be best. Have Fun!

The best way isn't always hearts and flowers but personal. You have to think about what it is she enjoys. Does she like horses, take her horseback riding. Swimming? Scuba lesson and ask her when you're done. It's all about giving her something she loves, it's even better if it's something you don't like doing it because it will mean more to her. It doesn't have to be crazy or outlandish, just a simple thing, private. A lot of women feel put on the spot if you do it in front of a bunch of people.
My husband made me breakfast and when I was done he asked if it was good. When I said 'yes', he asked "was it good enough to marry me?" and showed me the ring. Simple but sweet. That's usually the best thing to do, that way you can't go wrong if you keep it simple.
I'd say the same thing with the honeymoon, take her to do something she loves to do, make her feel special and you're set!
Good luck

This is something that I read in Chicken Soup for the Bride's Soul.
Fill up a room with several bags of balloons that you have blown up. Put the ring in a ring bag and place in one of the balloons. When you propose to her, she will expect to open the ring box and find a ring, but surprise: it's a needle. She will have so much fun popping the balloons looking for the ring.

To propose? Only you will know that. From the heart and with a great deal of personal thought.

nothing beats involving your friends and family - after I asked my fiance's father for his blessing, I arranged a fake "house warming" party to get all of our friends and family over with out raising eyebrows. One of the house warming gifts was in a tiny box and she was curious as to what it might be (as planned before hand). she opened it and when she turnded around I was on my knee - everybody in the house was crying like babies and it was a special moment that I'm glad I was able to create
