In a way yes. Think back to all the things you have done for shock value (in the past and in the present). If they have progressively become more and more drastic, then it is time to stop.

At some point what you do ceases to be shocking, and you look for more drastic things to do. If it seems like you are headed down a path where you will be walking around town naked, just for the shock value, then now is the time to do the best you can to stop. Start teaching yourself to be comfortable with who you are and not worry so much about what others think or how they react to you.

not really , but I would really look at why you need to . is it you need attention . or is it just fun for you. you also need to know that you left an impression of some kind for you feel you cant do it just being you. you sound like you were born the year of the monkey or your birthday is in September for that is the month of the monkey and they are so audacious that whether they leave an impression negative or good they don't care as long as they are though of so think about why you are doing this and find out why and start working on a better you and shock people with your beauty and charm and you mind . that will get you a fabulous impression and you will be remembered in a positive way and the negativity of peoples thoughts will change and so will you.

Yes and no. Wrong is a matter of interpretation or understanding, just how serious is the result. TO smOKe weed in a nunnery, would result in shock and consequences would probably mean ejection from the community. Every community has a tolerance level, and while you might do something in one community that would be acceptable, even shocking, in others it will result in severe difficulty so what can be ok may not be wrong in the moral sense for one community but can be very wrong in another. Obviously, when you have freedom to act, or speak, there is also a necessary understanding that one wants to live within the acceptance of that community to ones best effort. Creating disturbing acts or speech for the sake of Shock, might also bring you into severe critique of your community, and to pursue such a code of contrariness might result in your finding yourself in restraints not to your liking.....be careful. Sincerely

depends on what you're doing and why you feel the need to shock people. Are you feeling neglected at home? not getting enough face time with the parents?

No, it isn't wrong if you understand WHY you do it. Anything you do without understanding why is wrong.

Testing people's beliefs, ideas, and opinions by showing them something different is good for them.

Depends. If you hurt others, it's wrong. Pretty normal as long as you do not hurt others or yourself.

well it does indicate a need for attention (see Coulter, Ann); I guess its ok, as long as one doesnt get offended when someone points out exactly that.
