How about the atheists that are out there? What would cause you to think contray to the way you do? Those that I seen change were not stupid but quite educated and suddenly they were accepting by faith the ideologies that they battled before.

When I was with three friends I met through an internship, they really helped me discover God. I got this "warm, fuzzy" feeling or whatever you call it when we discussed God. When I sang certain songs in Church, I got that feeling. I haven't felt that for a long time. I think that was God's message to me (if He exists) that this is what I can have if I choose him.
If you find out, please, please let me know. I'm dying for a little hope that I will one day believe...kind of faraway from that now.
I was going to email you, but you don't have open contact for email. Would you mind emailing me and letting me know about these people you have encountered?

Wow...this is hard. I don't know what would "turn" me. I'm pretty set in my ways at my young age. I guess a crisis or maybe loneliness. Sometimes it's just really hard to go one, it's like you are the only one. And I know...if I accept Jesus then I won't be lonely, but I don't want to be a fake...and it's not that I'm hating or not loving a God, it's that I just don't believe in one. I'd rather be true to myself and be an atheist than be a fake *** Christian. So, it would take someone to actually PROVE to me that there is a higher power...and that their god it actually the correct one. But it's not really about being right and wrong, it's more about what helps you go on in life. I think this is what people miss out on a lot of the time, they don't realize it is okay not to know, and change your mind later on. Religion is a touchy thing, you can't know for certain...and if you claim to, not only are you a liar...but you are a closed-minded idiot as well. I am not trying to offend anyone...I want to make that clear, I respect all people's choices and their religions...I am not an insulting and ignorant atheist.

It is the innate confusion and sense of mortality we naturally experience as humans. This desperate search for some peace of mind through knowledge never goes away and religious beliefs have always been a way to appease that. A lot of times, near death experiences can sway an Athiest. Even becoming close to someone with different beliefs can change someones ways. For me, I've experience extreme highs and lows, and had deep relationships with people of various faiths and atheism is still a rock solid aspect of my life.

God has an interesting way of turning the heads of those who scorned Him. God only wants those who come to Him of their own free-will. Anyone can be saved......if they so desire. I was an atheist as well. No longer. Look at the world around you...that is all I needed to believe in Christ.

One big way that is causing this is the advancement of scientific research. There is a mountain of science that reafirms what the Bible has declared for thousands of years, evolution is still trying to piece together a viable argument.

Seeing someone, so "Happy" everyday, of their life, from the "Filling of the Holy Spirit" that they wanted, what that person had, and asked them, what made them so "Happy & understanding, and Uplifting??" All the time.........My Mom, used to be an "Atheists" , but, when she saw, how much, "Joy" I had, she wanted what I had, and started, praying and believing in God, and even went to church, with me, a few times!! However, there is a difference, between, just getting "Saved", and walking & living your life, in a "Spirit-Filled-Way", the Holy-Spirit, will guide our hearts, to Righteousness, whereas, we can all do "Church", and still walk away, filling empty, inside........Whereas, if you get "Filled" with the "Holy-Spirit", God then guides, us, each & everyday, we ask Him, to fill, us with the Holy spirit, in thee Most Awesome, way !!! Then, and I think, only then, is when you know, God, is so "Real"!!! The simplest, things, in life, will just fill our hearts, with so much Joy-Unspeakable, the bible says !! And, the HolySpirit, will also let your heart know, when its time to ask for "Forgiveness" about something you've done,or something you might have said, to someone........And its the "HolySpirit" that also leads us, into a Whole nother' way of thinking, and cleanses, us daily to be more like "Jesus" than before we got "Filled" with the Holy Spirit!!! You'd have to get "Filled" with the Holy Spirit, to really understand, what I'm trying to tell you!!! He basically gives us "Clarity" as too how , to live our lives, the Best, Healthiest, way possible!! And I have never in my life, ever, had, so much, peace, in my life, as I did, when, I got "Filled-with the Holy Spirit", there's nothing like it !!! And, once your filled, you can also, read the word, of God, and understand it much better, than, before,......Plus, use God's word against Evil, and Darkness, that comes, your way, simply by quoteing: Scripture, in which, only the "Holy Spirit" can interpet, it to us, to "Better-Understanding", so much, that we memorize, it and can use, God's word, for everything in life.....For example, for our daily opstacles, that come our way.....To pray & quote scriptures, for our loved ones, who aren't saved, or are sick, and need prayer, and just for life in general ......The word of God, is our teacher, and our quide, as too how God intended us too live! My mom, will never go back to being an "Atheist" , even though she doesn't tend church, anymore, she still believes, just from watching how "Blessed others, lives" are around her!!! Enough said......I just hope, for your sake, you will be saved, one day, you'll never regret your decision, I promise, you this!!!!

I would need to see god... and have him perform something that only god could do...like flood the earth... and make 2 people repopulate the earth without the decendants having down syndrome..

"Atheists" are as hard to convert into "religion" as Theists are hard to convert into "atheism".
Good balance, huh?
By the way, most of "Atheists" don't even choose such a label: they feel freed from labels. "Atheist" is a label.
