I broke the wire on my tv that connects to the vcr and now I can't watch my tv. When I turn it on, it makes a loud noice and has black and white specks. Can I buy another wire??/ If so where and how much will it cost? What is the wire called?

You can replace åny wire that connects to a connector on your TV or VCR. Take the broken wire to an electronics store (Radio Shack, Fry's, Circuit City, Best Buy) and get and exact replacement.

Are you talking about the wire with the red, white, and yellow on it? If so, then yes you can get it at best buy or a similiar place. I think it costs no more than 10-15 bucks..
If not, you can go to the store and ask, I'm sure they could help you..

I assume you mean the cable wire. Do you have cable or satellite or an antenna? If it is a cable wire, you can get one at almost any major retail store, i.e. WalMart, Kmart, Target, etc. They are relatively inexpensive. Take the wire with you so you get the right connector ends and length.

Until you buy a replacement cable you can plug the antenna directly into the tv receiver instead of the broken cable between the v.c.r. and the tv.

You should be able to get a new end for the cable at Walmarts, as well as other Stores.
