At 5'7" and 115 pounds, you can assume that your BMI (Body Mass Index, aka the percentage of your body is fat) is 19%, according to an online BMI calculator.

Those straight cut bodybuilder types that you see on TV that have like nothing but solid muscles generally rate around 4-6%. That is generally a dangerous level to be at. 8-18% is a low number, but still healthy. I wouldn't suggest going anywhere under 8%.

Please, please, please do not try to lose weight in an unhealthy manner. Vegitarianism is not a bad thing, in fact, that's great for you. Here are a few tips to help you and I urge you to follow them.

1) Drink tons and tons and tons of water. Yes, it'll add some water weight, but go to the sauna for 15 minutes a day, three times a week. A local gym will have them. Saunas, particularly steam rooms, will force you to sweat a LOT. You will shed all, or close to all of your water weight like that.

2) Walk. Walk walk walk walk walk. Go for a walk three times a week. Try to walk for 30 minutes or so.

3) Think low fat, NOT NO FAT, low calorie, carb's are good (it's brain food and cutting them out will drop pounds but hurt your ability to think and use your brain processes), and protien. Protien is what creates muscle, so protiens are good for you.

4) If you lift weights or are interested, low weight, high reps. That's what'll tone those muscles and eat the fat.

5) Try joining a sport. It'll keep you active, up your metabolic rate and make you able to lose those pounds healthily.

Please don't do anything without seeing a doctor first. Just go to the doctor, you can get your actual BMI and give him your idea of how to reduce any weight. Talk to him about what your goal is for your final BMI and how you want to get there. Listen to him, doctors generally are very knowledgeable about the subject.

Good luck.

Note: these calculations are based on averages. A BMI of 20-25 is considered good; a higher or lower BMI may increase health risks.

BMI
Normal: 18.5 - 24.9
Overweight: 25 - 29.9
Obese: 30 and over

Oh, and remember that you are 13, you are still young. These figures are for fully grown people. In a few years you will fill in and the awkwardness will end. Besides, 115 pounds at 5'7" is a great weight for anyone.

Yr weight is very ok for yr height and age. But rebember that taking the pill will make you gain weight as hormones will do that. Some gals have sex early so they gain weight too. At the rate you are going you will be a tall girl (5'9 or 6') and most likely you can become a model. So take good care of yourself and being a vegetarian help (but not too strict vegan) as your growing body needs proteins. Eat some nuts and start the "cat walk"!! Best wishes!!

115 for a 5"7' frame is actually too skinny! However, you are only 13 and have not finished filling out. 125 will be a more normal weight in a few years.

You're 20 lbs under what you should be. After 5 feet, you should gain 5 pounds per inch...so you should really be 135! So you are one skinny lil thang! No pounds to shed, more like gain! Lol. ^_^

Good luck!

Btw, that ain't no damn baby fat, psh, you hardly have any fat on ya, lil missy, lol.

Stop being a baby. Seriously. I'm tired of questions like this where little whining asses complain about their weight and height and body and how they're not anorexic. My advice to you, honey, is to stop complaining and love your body! You're perfectly fine the way you are and you should be grateful! Some people are big and want to smaller and please just stop complaining! It makes me feel bad already about myself and others who agree!

MOISTURIZE. Its the great factor you'll be able to do in your dermis, except washing it. Moisturizing offers your face a delicate and sparkling look. This appear may be very welcoming and you will not appear "hardcore". :)
